Adem Yze

Livingstone always sat on the bench with Dimma in the box .

I think it is drawing a long bow making assumptions about someone's level influence based on where they sit on game day.
Must be the same bow that holds him to blame for Cumberland not being able to get a game.

I assume you know what Benny Gale is doing then? How would you know if it is being evaluated by Tim Livingstone or Benny Gale or not?
Your the one who said Benny would evaluate him. I asked a simple question who is evaluating Livingstone job which is a fair question.

11 quarters this year we have kicked one goal. 6 more 2 goals.
there are obvious reasons but we need to work out some alternative paths to goal.
We have alternative paths to goal. They're just full of Meehan induced potholes right now.

It's Benny's job to evaluate his direct reports and I assume he is doing it with Livingstone and Livo is doing it with Meehan. I have no idea how it is going but I assume we will find out over time.

Have not been impressed with Livingstone at all. Him and Blair took the joint role after Balme. Blair looks after I think more recruiting and contracts. Livingstone needs to take some accountability for the mess in fitness and conditioning and medical department for the last 2 seasons. The appointment was wrong. His in the box with Yze , but who's evaluating his job.

Livingstone has been Head (or GM) of Coaching and Football Performance for 15 + years now - Since 2009.

He was Dimma's right hand man all the way through. He was the one who told Dimma he needed to pull his head in at the start of 2020 when he was dragging the team down, sulking about Covid restrictions. Without that we aint winning that flag.

He's no Jonny come lately and has a mountain of runs on the board.

But yes you're right - He does need to sort Physical Performance out. Dare say that is his number one priority ATM.

He aren't good enough to tie Balme shoe laces. Livingstone and Gale we're the ones who told him 2024 is your last year. In our current state you tell me a calming influence, experience operator and man with wealth of experience in Balme can't help our football department puzzling and he wanted to go on.

Incorrect. Hartley and Benny were with Balmey. Not Livingstone.

Livo used to often do the exact same role under Dimma i.e. relay messages from coaches to the players.

He did it predominantly (but not always) from the bench, wired up to the coaches box.

From what Leysy understands the only change is he is moreso stationed in the box now and delivers to the same messages to the players from there.

Hardly any difference. Mountain out of a molehill.

Anyone who knows anything about him will know he will be giving nothing but support and won't ever impede on the coaches role and decisions.
Fair nuff

The club told him this is his last year.
Balme not doing too good at the moment.

Yep, some bizarre irrational takes (even for PRE) that are a million miles from reality.

Livo is now not just influencing selection, but making in game moves Bahahaha! Hilarious!

You have it wrong. Livo is a plant to make us crap. He doesn't want forwards to play, especially if their name rhymes with Roah Rumberland. He's also going around injuring our players, and then hiring guys that don't know how to fix injuries. He's the Shiv Palpatine for our football club, working from within to destroy us

The Oooze strikes me as a smart and strategic operator. Hi EI even. Great match day coach, but suspect he is an even better builder of teams!

Cleary he recognised our youth as an area of untapped potential. Good. He invested strongly in this cohort from day 1. Messaging from the start was clear.

Reckon he promised the kids good opportunities throughout the yr. Fair enough. Due to our champions, our kids probably have not had the type of opportunities they would have liked in past few yrs.

However, with greater opportunity comes greater responsibility to perform at the required level. Sure. Give the kids blocks of games for the chance to establish themselves as AFL quality players at the RFC. If unsuccessful, they (2021 cohorts and earlier) must be punted!

Experimentation with the list is key in 2024. Not wins. Simply separate the superhunks from the superflunks.....!

He also had nothing to do with our success and we of course know that Dimma didn't also. It was all Caracella, McRae and Leppitsch

Welcome to coaching.

Will earn his Dollars this year.
At what point can he start throwing clipboards around and letting loose with some expletives Colonel Sanders style (Tony Jewell)?

Forgot. It's 2024.
Wouldn't wash with the Metro-sexuals.
Would certainly make a few sit up.

Need to borrow Bellyache for a week or two to put the wind up a few of them.
Amazing system down at the Storm.
Players come and go. They are always competitive. They get injuries and next guy come in and does the job.
We loose some players and it all blows up.

I listened to Bellamy last nights presser after a loss
Then listened to YZE after a loss
Enough said

I'm not sure we can compare Yze to one of the greatest coaches in Aus sport history. No matter what he does.

I was very concerned that Yze couldn't fault the players efforts when everyone in the stands as well as the media could.

Correct
There was very little effort
The trailing of opponents at clearances was disgraceful
I was comparing what what said
Bellamy was honest and factual
YZE complete crap !!!
Seriously

At this point I find it very hard to judge the Ooooooze , so many keys injuries and will have a vastly different list moving forward if given the time . One small concern is most successful rebuilt clubs generally build around defence first and then attack ( I stand corrected if that’s incorrect) .

Biggest concern for me at this point is the general consensus of our positives on field this season has been Miller , going ok is Ben and would vastly improve as the 3rd tall defender and be able to use his foot skills of half back as a weapon, however imho hes still not good enough one on one . MJ huge improvement and graph going up ( until injury) however is never going to be more then a defensive small forward , pinch hit mid , no doubt that’s a vital roll , Thirdly Lefau shown some good signs and been thrown to the wolves with no Lynch or Balta , however again looks handy and could well be a big improver , however at the end of the day looks like may just be a roll player , my point been well done to those 3 but they are all limited , for us to rise again we need elite mids and key position players , handy types can be found anywhere but we simply don’t win flags without Elite players and I’m worried we don’t have any young elite players. Having a *smile* year like this will hopefully land us the first of our elite new stable .

Oooze an co are going to have some easy and tough calls come seasons end , Bakes is the one we need to over pay to keep , heart and sole but most importantly top end talent .

My biggest disappointment besides the lack of genuine improvement from the cubs is Young , been a liability a lot of the season , maybe his concussion has had a big part to play and has shown better signs lately , however he’s not anywhere near our 2 best key defenders and with Balta playing 5 games forward and kicking 5 goals it’s time to get our best key defender back , build that backline around Balta , Oooze’s reasons for him playing forward because of his lack of a tank is the one thing he’s said that I think is Bull *smile* . If Gibcus can’t get back and we persist with Balta forward we may have to get used to 100 point loses .

Tough gig for Oooze atm , however if he can get an elite conditioning coach a couple of elite juniors , some creative and smart list re shaping and some good luck with injuries and if he is a top shelf coach we should be in a much better position in 12 months
