Zip 28 touches
13 inside 50's
27 hardball gets.
27 kicks
19 tackles.
5.1

And thats all from the back.pocket.

I still reckon im better value then Menadue, Bulter, Houli and Carthwaite.

How many pressure acts?

Career totals??

:hihi

On a serious note - Jack needs time in the two's.

A couple of 30 possession games in the guts will do him the world of good.

Only Toothless can't see the benefit of that.

Without the injuries he would have been in the two for some time now.
But I don’t think he will ever be a 30 plus touch player.

This is what happens when the match committee refuses to drop you. Had he been dropped 5-6 weeks ago would have had some weeks in the 2s to get some touch and form and from there who knows. Leaving him in the ones has him mentally shot and doubt he will recover this year.

He was putrid against Adelaide and average for the last few weeks, but I think people have short memories on here.

Round 1 against Carlton: 17 touches and 3 goals.
Round 3 against GWS: 21 touches and a goal.
Round 5 against Sydney: 25 touches and 5 tackles.
Round 6 against Melbourne: 25 touches and 6 tackles.

Granted those games are a while a ago, and he's clearly badly out of form (and being asked to do too much for a 19 year old), but he can clearly play. Certainly not the write off some on here have made out.
you wanted him dropped after the Melb game?

or after the bombers game when he kicked 2 goals?

he has struggled the last few games but he has not been *smile* all year

27 hardball gets in 28 touches. You need to learn how to get more outside ball. Back to the VFL to develop this...

Those are inside mid plodder stats, Zips.

You forgot about 21 clangers as well.

Higgins needs to be replaced by Bolton against St Kilda.
He showed in 2018 that he's got a few tricks, but I am wondering if we've seen the best of him.
I know that's an early call but I am starting to wonder if there is anything particularly outstanding about his game that can sustain him at an elite level.
He does seem like a bit of a plodder at times. I understand that this season he has probably had to carry more responsibility than maybe he's yet capable of handling.
Anyway, he's not bringing too much to the table at the moment, so I would like to see Bolton to get another few games to show his wares and see what he brings to the game style.

Higgins looks low on confidence and the spark and energy he had last year is not there. His game revolves around distributing the ball by hand but he's fumbling everything atm. Needs a spell in the 2nds.

Yep 100% needs a spell. However I feel the break this week could be just as good.

Is it just me or does it seem like he has only one style of kick? Everything seems to loop and hang in the air, even his easy short passes.

Definitely needs a spell in the 2nds for a period.
