If he was injured should not have played last week,but one thing I think we got to cute and outsmarted ourselves with this playing him up forward he was killing it in the backline pinch it here and there up forward why we broke the momentum.

Hardwick can forgive poor individual performances as long as they are honest.
Stack was dishonest against Carlton. Those forward assists he burned through lazy passes is a lack of respect for the work up the ground.

Dishonest if he burnt his team mates and had shots on goal from tight angles would be a fair criticism if it actually happened.

Agree with Baron mostly, I reckon Stack is still out of form and still a little bit sore. So have no problem with him going down to the VFL or even missing the VFL game if he's still tired/sore.
The Stack/Short/Baker conundrum is one of life's great mysteries though. I think the MC still see significant upside with Short as an attacking weapon on half-back so they are persevering, at least that's my best guess. But Stack should be back

Funny how the unexpected selections / omissions of the past few rounds have been applauded on here but now that one involves PRE 2019 Pin up Boy the selectors have lost the plot.
