Said in an interview after the game that he'd stick with #50.

He's immortalised in the #50 after the GF and his impact on the day plus the spin and the goal might as well make it famous.

Theyll be selling out of #4's and might be a few #5's and 0's sold this pre season.

Dusty obviously as well as Stacky and Marlion will be popular jumper numbers amongst thefans next year

Marlions numbers were all the more remarkable when you consider the Coaches were looking after him,he only had 66% Time on Ground.

Marlion is a quiz question in today’s Australian. Work group runs the quiz at lunch. I did nothing and just smiled. Everyone else knew the answer.

He’s one of the nominees in today’s Weekend Australian for the “Sporting moment of the year” which I think is a joint ABC/AIS award

I'm really hoping that the jaw dropping blind turn of his becomes a signature move.
Watched the post GF presser again recently & both Dusty & Dimma both said he's done it a few times before so hopefully it's not about to be ironed out of his game.

The brave, crunching pack mark he took in the VFL was the best seen at any level too this season.

Spectacular footballer & can't wait to see a full season of what he brings in the seniors. He'll bring people through the gate.

And now for some fantastic news, Marlion is quoted in this article as saying he wants to repay the faith shown in him by Richmond and play with us for the next 5 years.

Sorry, I can't get past the members only bit on the article. If someone knows how to, please PM me.

Sorry i can't help you there Streak, i did read it at the time, it was a good read.

I'm not sure whether it was his manager or WAFL coach who said that Marlion and his family were very appreciative of the support that the club gave Marlion and his family.

Here's another good article Streak.

I wouldn't be surprised if it goes the other way and he is back in the twos before long to tune his game to AFL tempo.

When I've seen him, he tries to do too many tricks when he has the footy and I think he will get shut down in the increased pressure.

There was a little example of it in the GF on the forward flank at one stage but it won't take clubs long to know he is going to dance and once that happens they will commit to his body early.

Hopefully he is experienced enough to adjust his game and take the first option more often than not.

You would have to expect a period of adjustment. The GF always had the possibility of being one out of the box.

I reckon he has the talent and the motivation and will play a lot of games, he looks determined and is old enough and smart enough to adjust.

Marlion, "has time". The one game i have seen him play, hehe, once in possession he has that ability to put space on opponents. I think his football smarts will enable him to play at the top level.
Although next year will be harder to get into the team than in a long while.
He will be ok.

He was amazing in the grand final on the biggest stage there is. Think you need to watch his compiled package again from that game.
Marlion eats pressure for breakfast.

Has shown that the midfield is his go. If he gets tagged it will just let Dusty, Prestia, Sheda, the Chimp and co tear it up. Anyhow he's untaggable!!
Soldo and Pickett to form a General and the Flea type combination.

Disagree with this one. The guy screams class, the way he moves, the way he kicks, his decision making....he won't have any trouble adapting to the H&A tempo.
