Dentistry

I’ve had root canals that were more enjoyable than watching the last two games; so in that sense yes

Had root canal done. Told the dentist to just pull the tooth out but he talked me into a root canal.
Afterward told me I might get 2 to 3 years out of before he might have to remove the tooth.
WTF!

I had exactly the same experience. got talked into the $2k model after being given the impression it was a solid lump of ivory that would chew steak at long as I breathed,

only to be upsold crowns and told to chew on the other side a couple of years later.

A root canal is like recruiting Kurt Tippett

With PRE, you know what you're getting.

on the topic of root canals - my father was getting very ill with no diagnosis. after months a student doctor suggested maybe his teeth and it turned out to be an infected root canal that was poisoning him !
Slowly... like what Covid is doing to the season ...

I paid several grand for a root canal - maybe 5 or 6, can't quite recall - and it's going strong eight years later.

Some Aussies are booking holiday's to Bali staying a week getting the root canal over there and are saving money on the whole trip.

Nah - it’s normal that most premiers are slow starters the following year.

Plenty of time yet. What i want to see at the moment is giving more of our fringe players a run.

I think premiers starting slow could have a lot to do with going so deep into September & basically a month worth of training behind at least 10 sides the comp.

Yes if you listen to a holistic dentist they are right against root canals , they say it's basically something dead living in your body still, how many other things remain in your body once they stop functioning. Basically bad bacteria staying in your system.
Anyway i have had one for years, but when i was trying to work out why i was so sick for years went down that path of thinking & thought for a while it was the root canal causing the issues.

Out of interest how did we start on root canals in this thread lol.

I know a really good dentist in Bali and yes, it's much cheaper there. I'm just going through a botched root canal now in Jakarta, amazing the PPE gear they wear here, they take it pretty seriously.

I see root canals as a form of invasive surgery but sometimes that's better than not doing it.

I think we touched on Collingwood and the segway was unavoidable,

even though the data clearly show less than 1% of collingwood supporters opt for a root canal over an extraction

My missus is a cosmetic dentist. She can look in a mouth and tell where in the world the work was done. Apparently each country has its identifiable technique and standards. It all depends where the dentist went to school as to how good they are. Aussie dental is one of the most respected worldwide.

My Balinese dentist was trained in Portland, Oregon :) or so he told me. Lived there for years but came back to the home country eventually.
