Right about now I would have been preparing to stroll the fairways of Augusta and feed my face on Pimento Cheese sangas.

Followed by a week in NYC.

Think I dodged a bullet there.

Going through the Masters from the 90s now on 503.

For the masochists 1996 starts at 4:30pm.

That wasn't the only year he had a chance. Recall he inevitably started slowly every year (other than 96) and would charge late.

They had 1999 on recently, another he came close in.

Now replaying the final round in 96 again.

I remember getting up early to watch the final round live. It still staggers me that he managed to lose.

Even watching now I can hardly believe it. The Shark is a weird cat but I truly feel sorry for him. It must burn inside him unbearably.
I was Norman's biggest fan, he was an incredible striker of the ball. While i still think he was an amazing golfer, he lost me a little as a fan in the later part of his career.

I don't think that is correct. He was incredibly successful on the course and away from it. I doubt his ego suffered too much. One of the most gracious losers in the history of sport, you don't fake that. And, in some ways to judge a golfer purely on majors won is not necessarily accurate. Norman was the best player in the game for near on a decade. He changed golf in this country. People call him a choker. Yes, he didn't execute that day but he won 89 tournaments worldwide in his career. This is more than Watson (70) /Faldo (39)/Els (70). Less majors than these guys but more wins. He played everywhere and won everywhere. You don't do that without having plenty of ticker. One of the best drivers of a golf ball of all time.

Don't think he spends too many sleepless nights bemoaning the Masters.

Damnit. Still has a good future ahead of him but he'll rue this one.
His sister Gabi who goes to college in the States won a tournament on the weekend in which some of the professionals were playing in.
She's a real talent and only started playing when she was 14.

Yeh, just 22 and on the rise. Followed him around 13th Beach about 5? years ago when he was grouped with Todd Sinnot & . They both looked like players of the future. Sinnot won on Asian tour and got to 267 in world but now down around 2000. Not sure what happened to him. He missed about 14 of his last 15 cuts and hasn't played professionally since March 2019. A guy called Brett Coletta I think was in their group also and he was another talented guy.

Its such a competitive game with so many talented guys out there.

Don't have to dead to be stiff.
On the last hole of the Maine State Golf Association Junior Championship, golfer Armand Ouellette was tied for the lead, he eagled the hole but didn't win.
He hit his 2nd shot onto the green, for an eagle putt. His opponent Caleb Manuel hit a 6 iron a 193 yards into the ****** hole.

This will be the last time.....he's a bit like an old girlfriend of mine, he teases me, has been in pretty good form.
Reasonably confident about Schauffele, finished 4 shots behind the winner last week with a quadruple bogie.

“mmm” = I like it.

Will tail you on both.
