What a smart little player. Positions himself well at the contest and then takes off like the flash when he grabs the ball.

We can’t let him get out the back. Must get up in his face. I think Baker is the man. Don’t expect much run from Baker though if he plays in him. Will need to really do a lockdown job.

No one will catch him on the run.

The Run that put us on this 4 year of dominance started the day Lord Bulter took on the entire West Coast team sprinted from the wing all the way to the goal square.
That's when Richmond had a plan.
No Griffens, No Elton, No Vickery

Can Stkilda transfer Hills contract to Bulter now?
180k for a runners up in your B&F.
Thats value

**thank you Dan because of your fantastic season, every Richmond's player value has move up one round in a trade.
No more pick 67's or pick 70's.

If Broad leaves pick 25-30 GC 2nd rounder.
Markov pick 30-35.
Higgins Hawthorn's 2nd rounder.

I assume that is the best result of a modern ex-tiger polling in a best and fairest at another club.
Did Ottens poll that well - others players?

It’s interesting Justin Murphy was third in Geelongs B&F In his only season there. He hated playing at Geelong so much he quickly returned to Carlton after his only season there.

IIRC that wound was largely self inflicted. I could be wrong, but I thought he was looking to stay but we did little to keep him.

I believe swans offered him good coin, over $150,000 per year, half of that came from the AFL. We couldn't or wouldn't match.
I think it would have made him one of, if not the top paid player at the club, which made no sense at the time. We had a very young list then and i think the club was scared of creating a divide within.
Sydney also offered a fully paid tafe course, apprenticeship as a carpenter. So he also had a paying job once he got there.
