About a minute before he kicked the first I said to my son we need him to do something. Then he delivered. I will be asking him to do something in the first 5mins next week. Will be critical next week as we need to rove the crumbs as we won’t control the air against Geelong’s defence.

Our smalls will be critical Saturday night as the conditions may make it again tough for the talls.

I reckon we will control the air.

but yeah, controlling the ground as well would be good.

Will be very humid and ball handling will be worse than the wet in Adelaide. Hope we do some night time training this week.

We know how to flick the switch - went blow for blow for 3 quarters and then bang in the last. Last years prelim we went a quarter earlier and blew the cats of the park.

I reckon Saturday we will take a quarter to get the feel of the game, then like the past 2 grannies (17 and 19), we will switch into dominate form during the second - that’s how we play these grannies.

Not good as recently we seem to be bombing high long balls into the forward line. Just what these lumbering tall defenders want.

Don't worry balooga - they'll play slow and controlled, we'll pressure, they'll screw up, fast break into our forward line.

the thing I viewed from both of their past 2 games for geelong was collingwood and brisbane did not apply high pressure to them. We need to do this for the four quarters to them.

He has done nothing for 4 weeks, but he come alive when it mattered.
That's the beautiful thing about our side, if your down, someone else lifts.
It shows in the way we play.
Prestia was the same too.

Just watching the SANFL GF (North Adelaide v WWT) and one of the salty SA commentators (I think it might’ve been former Port Adelaide player Tim Ginever) say “the Kane Lambert pocket”. :rotfl2 Mark Soderstrom says “You just had to go there didn’t you?”

This.

The alternative is Scott knows his game wont hold up against us,

And he tries another game,

And They get confused, theylle screw up, fast break into our forward line.
