I just watched Gary Ablett Snrs,

driving, verbal defaecation about God, Covid and the end of the world.

OMG.

Im pretty sure when he taps his nose and winks about the anti-christ being smote,

hes talking about Dusty.

I knew this bloke was mental, but I hadn't grasped to what degree before watching his behind the wheel sermon.

Cotchy would do well to play this clip to the fellas on his phone at 3/4 time.

If i hear one more how to 'stop Dusty' story i will :vomit

Ken Hinkley was on the radio talking about the game ,

And the question was asked about the match up on dustin when he goes forward ,

And he said when he used to go forward , he used to go deep forward and you could put one of your key defenders on him ,

Now he goes very high forward and you dont really want one of your key defenders going that high , out side the 50 , so its a tough one , DBJ happens to play around that area so that become the natural match up without changing their structure

He is playing more like Lambert used to, going from midfield to high half forward and just manipulating the opposition to constantly be changing match-ups and often losing him in the handover.

It is making it very hard for the opposition to use its plus one effectively because he keeps sucking them up the ground. I think part of our clearance numbers Friday were created by his movement forcing another player to roll back which gave us a two outnumber around the footy.

I hope Dimma switches back to the 2019 Qualifying final forward's role for Dusty.

Actually, I hope he does both.

Dusty doesn't need it to be immortal. This is the year of the emergence of others and Balta, Bolton or Baker would reinforce that.

However I would take Dangerfield winning it if we won the game
 
Alan Richardson had it best about stopping Dusty. He’d had a ringside seat to a Dusty master class after the Saints were ripped apart and was asked what do you do when he’s in that sort of mood. He said there’s nothing you can do other than hang in and hope the damage isn’t too bad.

Ron Todd's finals record was pretty good from a limited sample (18-22yo).

11 games, 55 goals, 1 or more in every game. Two bags of 11 in prelims, 4-4-3-6 in grand finals.

Dusty's greatest finals game is 2017 QF. From about 5min into third Q he took over. Last Q everytime he touched it we scored or almost scored. Outrageous.

As good as Dusty has been, that 2017 finals series has been the best 3 games he has put out in a row and I don’t think he has got close since (apologies for the 2019 qual final against Brissie)

My favorite game hands down. The goal he set up late in the last is about as excited I've ever been at the footy.

Didn't he set up Bachar to in 2017 in the 1qtr got the tiger army roaring with that goal.
