Gudinski along with Mushroom pretty much was the Music scene in Australia apart from a few standouts.

Was involved in nearly everything in some way shape or form be it as a record company to the force in promotion that is the Frontier Touring Co.

The Sunbury Music Festivals in the aerly 70's really helped to put Aussie Music and Himself on the map.

Sad to see Gudinski pass. I've always been a huge music fan and he contributed so much to music in Australia.

Will be well remembered for his promotion of Australian music and bringing overseas acts to our shores.

Nice one Ian. Great track from The Boss.
The outpouring of emotion from so many artists in the music industry indicates the standing in which he was held.
A big loss to the live music scene that needs figures like Gudinski as it looks to navigate it's way back post covid.

Totally agree. Good to see Rage paying tribute to him tonight on ABC.

For those of us who used to watch a lot of F1 in the past Murray Walker dead at 97. Great commentator especially in his days in tandem with James Hunt

Legend of the sport. Unless I'm very much mistaken... I am very much mistaken!

Marvelous Marvin Hagler has passed away. He fought the best there was Duran, Hearns, Leonard, Mugabi and Minter.
RIP Marvin, I'll go to my grave believing that you beat Leonard, you were robbed.

Marvellous Marvin fought in one of the division’s greatest eras. Sadly missed and so young, too.

RIP Marvelous Marvin and Murray Walker.

Hagler fought in a golden age of Boxing.

Walker the Tyler of Formula 1, with Stewart and Hunt they brought the sport and Formula 1 into the interest of many in the late 80's early to mid 90's

Grew up listening to Walker call F1 races. He was the voice of F1 for so long right into the 2000’s.

Late Sunday nights studying for HSC with Walker calling Prost and Senna doing battle in the background. A voice full of expression that stays with you.

I see it has been announced that "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler has died unexpectedly aged 66. *Edit* apologies, I see others above have also mentioned it.

Ruled the middleweight boxing division for quite some time in the division's halcyon era of the early to mid 1980s. Whatever one's thoughts on the sport of boxing. He was one hell of an athlete who probably could have competed at a top level in whatever sport he chose to put his mind to. As could many of his fellow top level opponents at that time.

Probably the greatest first round in boxing history between Hagler and Tommy Hearns. Insane stuff!
