Fortunately our next 2 picks were 20 (CCJ) and 25 (Balta) which i would argue makes up for missing on Allen.

Balta is clearly our best young KPP on our list and although CCJ remains an unproven talent at AFL level, by all reports he's tracking well.
When he ends up at GWS for pick 65, will that make you feel better?
Allen was regard as a top 3 pick.

Thanks for that, AT. Wasn't keen to look it up myself. But at least Duggan was gone. Think the Calder Cannons coaches rated both CEllis and Duggan highly but another one WCE got pretty right.
So close. No luck.

If we hit the Demons from the first bounce the way we bashed up the Saints they will wilt very quickly.

These soft kills that the Bulldogs have been afforded will make Friday week all the more delicious.

Sydney getting kissed by the fks again.
2 Sydney players swung 360 with the ball and both called play on,
And the softest holding free kick in the history of the game to Haywood.
This all because the AFL needs the money to make up for last year.
Simple instructions get Sydney back in the 8, from Hocking and Gilligan.
*smile* i hate longmire

If they get finals at that shithole, good luck beating them there.
I disagree. They have changed their game style from a contested game to a kick / mark game which, in my view, doesn’t suit the SCG dimensions

Yes, well-said. Balta a favourite pick of mine and could be a lot to come with the promise of CCJ as a predominantly ruck, then forward.

But we are gun-shy on picking any dedicated KFs I'd say. TL through free agency.
