If we have a chance to get a top 5 pick for a combination of CCJ & Pick then we do that
Jacob Van Rooyen will be the best KPF in this draft and will most likely be a top 5-7 pick and is a genuine Foward

Rhett Bazzo is a KPD with good agility who should be available in the late teens also

These 2 player would be a great haul and replacements for Jack & Astbury

Thanks but must be getting old can't see anything for 2021?

Apologies, looks like you have to download the NAB AFL League App, which I've got on my phone and the games are on it but they're not on the actual AFL linked website I gave you.

Definitely death riding the Cats for their first, Saints for their second and Sun's for their third lol. As the ladder stands, the six picks we have are pick 11, 14, 24, 32, 42 & 50. Six picks inside 50, nice :mhihi
I still can't believe it.
We were the worse club in the history of the draft and now we are all time conquers.
4 flags in 5 years
6 picks under 50.
Where's the party???

As bad as we were, Pavlich never played in a flag, a few of the others we missed out on the same, Melbourne since 1964, Saints with all them top draft picks done nothing with them either, Dee's missed on Dusty, Carltoon took Kreuzer not Cotchin, Pies won just the two flags in 63 years...And counting Us 3 in 4 years lol

Been a big believer in Dimma's saying, It's never as good as you think it is, and it's never as bad as you think it is, it's somewhere in the middle. I used to be the biggest stress head going around and since I started with that saying to myself everytime something bad happens, in life as well, it helps calm me down.

So I never try to get too high after a win (except end of September) and never try to get too low after a loss. Try and stay somewhere in the middle. Even the 2018 Prelim I know many fans still are not over it but I'd dealt with it at half time it was over, I spent the second half at the game calm, the boys made a little comeback but got pushed back, cheered them off the ground and walked out of the stadium and moved on with life.

My philosophy was, and I saw Vlastuin a month after the Prelim and told him this, "If someone came to you/me at the end of 2016 and said here's a contract, Richmond will win 2017 flag, finish on top in 2018 but lose the Prelim, would you sign it?" Of course you would, well I bloody would, after the rubble we were from 1983 to 2016 without nothing.

So man, I've just been enjoying the 'now', not worry too much about bad results, because one day all them video's from 2017-2031 are going to be needed when it turns to crap!!

Parties at Caeser's, he's the Party Man!!

I love to get green but i think i would rather a top pick to get Van Rooyen instead
Green will be a good player but mids are easier to find but we are in need of a KPF and to have JVR whilst Jack is there would be sensational

Id take their Pies pick thanks

If the price is right he will go. Soldo and Ryan both pushing for minutes next year and Chol can be kept as back-up. Straight swap for Green in a heartbeat
If Jack retires soon CCJ might become a valuable commodity. Can ruck and go forward.
Even now I think we have one too many talls in the backline. We could rest Astbury. Grimes Balta and Broad is enough height in the backline. Bring CCJ in . The resting ruckman can go forward and the ruckman can go back and help the backline out

If CCJ is as good as they think he is, he will be going nowhere.

If the club doesn't want to fade into irrelevance ala Haw for 5-6 years or more, use the damn picks we have worked so hard to accumulate.

I do agree with this, thinking about it earlier today.

We still had a 'finals list' end of 2016, the three years before we made finals and had one bad year. We topped it up with ready made players - Prestia, Caddy and Nank - each improved a part of the ground we were lacking in, another mid, another forward and a ruckman. Add Lambo, Short, Edwards, Broad and Dusty who kept getting better and it took that list to even better heights, from losing first week finals, we could 'GO.....ALL....THE....WAY"

Now we're on the other end of the requirements list, we are ageing, and we need to re-generate with youth while we phase out at least eight players the next 2, 3 years. If we could amazingly get 3, 4 or 5 players coming with AFL experience end of this year, great, but its not going to happen, the salary cap can only go down to enable that too happen if we lose 3, 4 or 5 of those ageing players we have.

So it's 6 youth picks this year to re-build the list with Balta, Baker, Short, Bolton, Graham, Vlastuin, George, Rioli's, Stack, Martyn, Ross, CCJ, Samson and Mate hopefully keeping us a valid September entry into the future. :)

The other part of pushing draft picks is it’s cheaper on your cap.

We need to get one A grader out of these four and a capable of B graders.
