Must stay in even when Lynch returns. Has great hands and unlike Lynch, he's a one grabber.

As long as we bother to play him in the ruck when it’s his turn, he’s the ideal key forward & ruck we needed. Suspect he could be more important than Lynch or Riewoldt by this time next year.

Agree. We need 3 tall forwards. The game has changed and our forward pressure game is virtually non existent. The ball just waltzes out of our forward line; not sure where the pressure that’s supposed to be supplied by George and Rioli has been all year. We may as well have 3 tall blokes who can take a mark down there. And he can give Nank and fair dinkum chop out in the ruck.

He must remain in the team. He’s done his apprenticeship.

His next level up is ball use.
At the moment it's too slow and conservative- dinky 10m kick to a boundary side Houli.
If he can get belief and use the pill proactive then look out

Agree
Was good to see a down the line kick marked.
Love Tom but generally he is a *smile* mark. Has cymbals for hands.

Plus it stops the opposition double teaming the one key forward. I’m as equally perplexed by what role our small forward are playing. They get little of the ball (especially in losses) & seem caught out of position far too often. Doesn’t help Castagna is also a ball butcher.

Played more good minutes. Must find a way to keep playing him when Lynch comes back.

This.

Makes for a potent forward line. Look how many goals WCE got from marks and set shots, we need 3 tall forwards. Plus, it's not as if our smalls are kicking bags.

Definitely a ruckman long term.

Hopefully stays on. Still not 100% him and Lynch will work given both are pretty cumbersome once ball hits ground.

Young guys at his height with his mitts are worth gold though.

Think CCJ is better than Lynch when the ball is on the deck. Plus he’s a one grabber - that’s gold. Lynch played a decent 2019 season but last two years have been poor. Worried that the PCL knee injury that he came to us with was worse than realised. He’s nothing like the mobile and athletic tall that played for Gold Coast.

For whatever reason Zombie is the umpire's love child. If he's dropped I'll spew up.

Totally agree. Dimma hinted this in press conference. That extra tall releases the extra player Jack plays on.

Was he off for a lot of the last qtr? Haven't watched. replay and don't intend to.

Appeared to be and we badly needed him long down the line instead of always going to Jack who Barrass was cleaning up.

Also deep in the square for the last two entries?
