Friday night lights at the G , game day v the Saints

Try some of the kids, cop a few bad beats. Develop some system and hunger for 2022
We can make finals but I don't want to. I don't want to make up the numbers. So, agree, with our draft hand I would be setting up for 2022 and beyond. Old guys out, young guys in.

Reality check here for coaches & players. Hardwick needs to understand that clearance & contested ball is the new game. Can not rely on turnovers. Can not take cheap uncontested game plan into games & expect to win. Players half hearted tonight - turned up thinking it would just happen. No excuses. Time to re-evaluate & have a good hard look at things.
I think he probably does understand that already. But we've built an entire list around a game style, and then in one off season the game got tipped on its head. I thought we would be caught out, but not this badly.

Reassess the list. Don’t go over board with retirements but go strong at the draft. Get a full pre season. Commit to a more certain game plan. Re set.

With a performance like this I expect Diggler and Laff to rise from the dead and resurrect their PRE shenanigans

Club needs to be smart and use this year as a transition. Blood the youngsters. Use your hand in the draft. Trade some players ala Chol, Mcintosh etc. Bring in some proper mids and a ruckman

Players still in holiday mode finally getting to return to Melbourne and dropped off.

No surprise the older guys with families all having stinkers.

Far out, BT and these boofheads in the box are just terrible. Waffling on and on. They gave Daisy 1 min airtime and she summed it all up perfectly
