I think it will be a Dogs V Lions GF, and as much as I'd prefer the Dogs to win, I think the Lions have assembled close to the best FL in the comp now. Two mercurial 200cm KPFs and the best assortment of deadly SFs anywhere. And that's the Doggies' weakness. They should have kept Marcus Adams who has really shored up the Lions' BL; another KPB to support Andrews makes quite a difference.

Two different midfields but Lions has more hard-nosed grunt; the style that wins tough finals. Hate Zorko and think little of Fagan, but Leigh Matthews is still a significant influence behind the scenes at BL IMO, and I'm sure he's had input at how you put a flag team together. They have drafted and traded superbly over the last 4/5 years. My only doubt is if they can do it at the G.

Moggies too old to stand up to remaining H&A games plus finals.

Godeez have been worked out: just 5 players to control/limit their influence- Gawn, Oliver, Petracca, Lever and May.

I have often commented before on how many on PRE want to cut young players after very limited opportunities, as if they should just walk in and play like champions after a handful of games.

Actually in total agreement with ya leon, was only having a gentle poke that you didn't include enough of those dud kids on your list.

Number 31 went off the ground carried by 2 trainers just before half time, which looked like a serious knee or ankle injury. But was back on after half time.
They must have good physio treatments in Brisbane

Yeh, I watched some games yesterday and the standard is not great. I dislike all the major competitors, I am not going to enjoy the finals if we don’t make it. Lions/Cats/Dogs all *smile* me.

Sorry eZyT, can't handle Joe the Goose, don't see how he gets away with those stupid marking attempts free after free if Tom done it. The Brisbane supporters, I don't think they were that arrogant back in the early 2000's when they could of been, winning premierships but this mob take it to a different level. I bloke I know won't go to the Gabba again after the last game, reckons he will be end up in hospital or arrested. Love to get this mob on the MCG with a few players back and bit of form.

Great too see the ump not falling for Schuey playing for a high free by lifting his arm in the tackle. They need to do this when Duckwood does it. But I doubt it will happen.

Didn't the Eagles get way ahead of themselves after beating us the other week. Since then they've got pumped by 10 goals against the Dogs at home and have only kicked one goal to half time against the Swans. They didn't just drink all the bath water, they drank all the water from the swimming pool too.

Have we and the Eagles done something together? This is weird from 2 sides in the 8 and the last 2 premiers in 5 years.
 
OMG Collingwood and Saints playing Richmond style rubbish footy at the moment. Footy has gone shizenhausen
