A few weeks ago you said I was having a weird rant to post that we shouldn't be playing Aarts or Castagna any more.

A few weeks pass, and now you've delisted them.

You're always a little slow on the uptake, but definitely get there in the end.

As far as recruiting and list management goes we’ve done a lot more right than wrong since 2016. However, we are paying a price for holding on to certain players for far to long.

Miller is 4 years into his career and hasn’t been deemed worthy to play a single game yet. Chol is 6 years in and it was obvious last year he wasn’t up to it but he was given another season anyway. Garthwaite 5 years on the list. Naish 4 years. Eggmollese-Smith 4 years and was delisted and then re-listed!

Given the low draft picks we’ve had in recent years, the chances of finding good players is reduced. To offset this we needed to be much more aggressive in player turnover but we haven’t. Now we are in a situation where some of the players mentioned above are likely to be retained for yet another season because of possible retirements and trades and it not being possible to turnover so many players in a single offseason.
