Started off missing marks as usual but by the end of the night had clunked some excellent marks. Amazing what a bit of confidence does.

56% game time and looked out on his feet in the 3rd and 4th. Best game by far but not sure you can carry a player in that position without a tank to play a whole game

I got the feeling he enjoyed not being the no.1 ruck and having Nank there to team up with.

I saw an article suggesting Norf are preparing a ‘big money’ offer for Chol… And we’ll get nothing for a player we’ve been developing for 7 years. Ridiculous rule.

Probably his best game, but he has to set a benchmark and keep hitting it. It’s no coincidence that this happened when Nank returned, too.

Hopefully 'big money' means a commensurate compensation pick. Oh wait it's an arbitrary AFL formula and we'll be screwed like we were for Ellis. Carry on.

Yes,

AFL: “Um, your compensation is a first round selection. In the rookie draft.”

Cholly's unrestricted. He can go wherever he wants to, at this stage of his career I doubt very much that there'd be a massive offer for him or much if any compo. I'd rather keep him as I reckon he's still got another year or so developing before he finds a level of match consistency. His good footy can be fairly *smile* awesome, he just needs to balance his game input.

Best game ive seen him play but at times still last night he still was very lethargic towards contests.
He is a better version of Ratonmygear.

Chol can chase the big dollars from a minnow club or he can aim to be a cult figure at one of the biggest clubs in the land for less contract dollars and get his manager Carr to bring in mega endorsement cash

Break-out game.
Everyone walks taller with big Nank in the side.

Yep, he has the tools . . . but the question is whether he knows how to use them.

Still fades in and out too much and can't handle high percentage of game on the ground. Not sure how we fix that, is it possible? If he could build more tank and play a bit more game time he can certainly be a very good player. Plus, if he plays well he is damned hard to match up on, especially if he is not the first ruck or forward, rather the second ruck and maybe 3rd forward. Gives the opposition a really tough problem to nullify him.

Plus, if he is playing forward he doesn't need much of a game to influence. 56% time on ground, a fair bit of that in the ruck, and he kicks 4 goals - that's 4 goals the opposition have to match or better.
