Not sure I’d be too excited about what we have seen. More of the same, some awful decisions and execution going forward. No pressure on opposition mids. Another uncontested circle work fest. Pretty uninspiring
Ross has been good in the middle. RCD also good in the clinches but needs work on the spread for sure. Dow showing glimpses and Martyn certainly a lot better than his debut where he was thrown to the wolves. Miller also showing a bit to be persevered with.

I am bringing a positive outlook today!

Tackling needs some serious work over summer
Yep reckon this has been overlooked a bit in this season from hell. We are a really poor tackling team. Every game oppo players just stand up and break our tackles. We need more players with size, strength and grunt. It’s been noticeable how much smaller and lighter we are than oppo teams this year.

Considering we have our VFL team as our starting midfield we are going ok.
Ross our best. Been very good in and around the contest.

Well, doing better than I thought. Ross and Miller have been very good.

But some really poor pressure at times and by jingoes our foot skills are a real concern. Lot of guys on our list who don’t kick well enough. That lack of quality got us into problems years ago. We gotta infuse this list with some better kicks.

Anyway, bit better around the stoppages with Ross playing where he should be and Martyn helping out too.
Spot on. Missed kicks & tackles that are too easily broken.

IMO doesn't matter how many possies he has , he is just not up to it.
That's bias right though. Don't kbow how anyone can say he's not up to it on today's game. 17 disposals, 10 contested, 3 clearances, 3 tackles, 6 intercepts, 3 rebound 50s, even a contested mark. He's capable alright, just needs continuous games. Another pre season will help alot too.

Despite the scoreboard i'm happy with that half. It's been great watching the younger players being tested in the midfield, still plenty of development required in Dow, RCD and Martyn but they haven't looked out of place. Ross has been good too and Miller decent, has probably met my expectations, unsure whether that means he'll be offered another contract but if were up to me i'd give him another year.

George has looked quick again too, maybe he needed a bit of a spell to refresh?

It is good to see Rancey. Gee there is some whiners in here, they should be auditioning for Goggle Box the way they carry on.

Im surprised at the whinging in here today. I am enjoying watching our next generation today - I have no expectations on the result, but rather am keen to see some good signs from the kids.
Agreed. I’m actually enjoying watching the kids today

Please please please go Mabior. Walking around aimlessly already
Really? I can cite several useful things he has done. Come back with what Jack has contributed so far ahead of the debits and easily given up possessions.

Across the list, it’s a huge concern.

It’s gotta be a premium at the Draft. Must be a half reasonable kick. Has to be. Too many butchers on our list.
Yep if chaos footy is out and kick mark footy is here to stay - then we need some better kicks.
