Nikki Savva really hates Morrison :)

An exert...
“The Morrison government has written more than 10,000 letters of demand to social security recipients in JobKeeper-supported jobs. But they haven’t said anything to the more than 150,000 firms that got JobKeeper despite rising revenue. The federal government has a loud megaphone, and should urge firms who were overpaid JobKeeper to give the money back.”
And the Libs are supposed to be the genius economic managers. Aside from the $13 Billion Jobkeeper payments sent to rich people that the article mentions, there was that over estimation of $60 Billion of the JobKeeper program, $1.8 Billion in settlement in the Robodept fiasco, as well as all the hundreds of millions spent in various rorts.

Their economic record is a myth. The article below was written before anyone knew about COVID, and mentions, among others, these gems:

Outside the budget context, the Coalition government has shown poor economic management in critical areas.
  • Over $20 billion will have to be written off the NBN for it to have a viable and modern future. The Coalition’s performance in the NBN debacle must rank as the most wasteful infrastructure project in our history.
  • Barnaby Joyce’s inland rail will need a substantial capital write-down because its operations are unlikely to be economic.
  • The opening and closure of Christmas Island at a cost of $185 million does not suggest a government that is good at business management. It was all political posturing at the expense of the taxpayer.
  • The Coalition has committed $50 billion plus, for the twelve French submarines to be built in Adelaide. We could have bought modern submarines off the shelf that would be much cheaper and would be delivered much earlier. For a 300 per cent effective rate of protection for the French submarines, we will have an increase of less than 2,000 employees. The motor vehicle industry, which the government forced to shut down had a rate of protection of less than 8 per cent and employed 200,000 people. What a price we are paying for Christopher Pyne. One thing that is certain is that this submarine project will leave major budgetary headaches for Australia in the years ahead. None of this sounds like good business management.

Anyone who votes for the Libs thinking they're better at managing the economy better think again.

And the dedicated quarantine facilities. What happened to those?
Federal responsibility? No responsibility
We wont need them now. Every one coming in will need to be vaccinated, even Dan said home quarantine for 3 days and he decides who comes into Victoria and the terms on which they come (ala Johnny Howard) not ScoMo
- unless you are advocating we all have to quarantine on arrival regardless. But I am sure Albo will be drawing up the contracts now to commence building on April 1 2022. Its a drovers dog election.

There are still people who think the Libs are better economic managers than Labour.

Probably too late now (I don't know how International arrivals quarantine "at home") just the point that it should have started 18 months ago and the Libs palmed off responsibility

1001 days since Scuntmo announced an integrity commission.

The Libs have never been good with the economy. Ever.

A bit worrying when our Treasurer doesn't know what the modern day US flag looks like....

Tim Smith, has been elevated as shadow attorney-general and given the portfolio of COVID-19 recovery coordination

Surely that's not this Tim Smith? If it is then the Vic Libs are well and truly *smile*
