Callum Coleman-Judas - extricate yourself to Nth Ballarat, you git

Until Soldo is fully match fit and has played 4-5 games in the VFL, CCJ should be playing second ruck/forward anyway. If CCJ develops at the level we all hope, he could keep this role and Soldo will have to wait unless Nank gets injured/rested.

Reality will be there'll be injuries - Lynch has missed games in the past two seasons, Nank the same and Obviously Soldo with his knee. While we all hope to be luckier with injuries in 2022, it's inevitable there'll be some.

Meanwhile Ryan can have a full VFL year to properly develop - only to be used if there's a really bad injury run.

Does jack on a wing make sense - like late career Richo? Not sure he has the tank though. But certainly gives a release from backline and will be a better user than Pickett or Macintosh.
Not sure Jack has the speed to play that role unfortunately. If we considered that Caddy was too slow for it, then Jack would be too.

No doubt this is what is delaying the commitment from CJ - weighing up between potentially a guaranteed spot elsewhere versus very much on the periphery with us next season. I can understand the hesitation given this.

Every player is in the same boat at the start of the season so asking Soldo to be match fit at the start of the season is an oxymoron

Sam Edmund just said he's off to Norf. Package him up with pick 7 for pick 1 imo.

Sam Edmund ? The guy who said Neil Balme had signed on with the Crows ?
He tosses shiit in the air and hopes it sticks.
Regardless Richmond need to match the offer so it forces North into a trade.
Simpkin straight swap

He can just walk to North in the pre season draft for nothing, it's the worst result possible.

Once again, despite her fetish for accusing people of conflicts, Caro shows she has as big a conflict as anyone.

To take a shot at a young kid with no right of reply like that was pathetic journalism. Yes, he made an enormous mistake but he has copped his whack and has as much right to get on with his life as anyone else does.
Its Caro chasing the grub stories.
He broke Covid rules, so have many others.
Not sure the North players wifes and Casboults family going to dreamworld broke past a small editorial clip in the hearld sun.
Hutchy Karen Hutchy and fly catcher have destroyed the show.
Not worth watching anymore.
The Sporting version of current affair

Norf have the No. 1 pick in the PSD. we'll probably lose him for nothing if he goes there.
We need to match the offer and force them into a trade
We need to do what Geelong did with Kelly and what GWS did with Cameron.
Let them leave but unleash hell on thr club trying to get them.
Make sure we get fully compensated.

The days of players walking into preseasons are gone.
The preseason draft will be the the Jack Newes, Lonies, Lipiski types.
Clubs will match offers regardless

ccj former junior captain of SA, so he has good traits and for many reasons ,HE WONT USE PRE SEASON ,its trade as he wants tigers fairly compesated, end of alarmist posts please.

He might want Richmond compensated but North don’t have to at all. What incentive is there to trade if you can get him for virtually nothing in the PSD?

Only reason why North would trade for him is if they have an even or better PSD target, not sure they have one.

Yep North is worst case scenario for us. They may trade but it won't be a great pick (probably around 40) as it will be a take it or we will walk him to the PSD scenario. The only way North don't do that, is if they want to keep a good trading relationship with Richmond.

GCS is the best solution IF he decides to leave (best solution is to stay) as there are plenty of options. They probably have more picks than they will use, I think I read somewhere that only 2 players aren't contracted for next season so they already have a tight list in terms of spots so maybe their picks are worth less to them this year, or we might be a player involved. What are peoples thoughts on Fiorini? I'd want a pick plus Fiorini or maybe an upgrade of a pick but could be a good option as an inside midfielder. Good size, wins clearances, just not being given as much time in the middle.
