No matter what side of the political fence you’re on, whoever thinks a Federal ICAC is a bad idea has something to hide.

Yeah, bit different to the rhetoric they roll out when they want to restrict our freedoms in the name of some "confidential" and wildly speculative threat from so-called terrorists.

Morrison doesn't want a proposed federal ICAC to be retrospective. I suppose it leads to the question, how far do you go back?

Morrison announced the proposed Federal ICAC in 2018, which was before the last election.
I think it would be fair to go back to when he first announced the proposed Federal ICAC. This would capture what is probably the most corrupt election campaign ever.

Another ScuMo mirror promise "Yes I'll look into it". And nothing happens.

We should call him the man in the mirror

I'll bet you my left nut Morrison will create this in a way that will protect him and his government. He will either give it no teeth or will grandfather it, so past corruption is not investigated.

Morrison has got a funny way of trying to find out the truth.

Before announcing 4 inquiries into the Brittany Higgins rape allegations, he had her boyfriend background checked.............Morrison's first instinct was to silence them, so that the truth wouldn't get out................and he's a Christian !!!!! No wonder I have no time for it.

We're so dumb. We should be making it as hard as possible for foreigners to buy our property.
And yet I believe people can buy property as a part of their *I'm rich and want to get Oz PR ASAP thanks* application.

Try doing it in China, Japan, Norway, Thailand etc etc etc

He's not a Christian. He just says he is for PR purposes.

If Jesus returned he'd burn Hillsong and their ilk to the ground.

That's why The New Liberals (who are now not allowed to be called the new liberals on the ballot paper after a law passed by the government with support from both major parties). One of their key aims is to achieve enough seats to hold the balance of power and to force an ICAC into existence.

It's really no surprise that the ALP fel just as threatened by The New Liberals as the coalition. The two major parties have decided this country should only ever be a two horse race.

Its actually valid to make sure new small parties dont have names similar to established parties.

The Liberal Democrats (I think it was- that libertarian hypocrite (again i think)) profited from their name to win a seat a couple of elections ago. If their platforms and policies stack up they should be able to come up with a name that does not risk confusion.

The Thailand Elite Residence Program offers applicants the right to live in the country for up to 20 years and access privileged services and benefits. To receive the Thailand Elite privilege entry visa, foreigners must join Thailand Elite, an exclusive program offered by the Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited (TPC).

The DLP says hello.

The Australian Electoral Commission approved the name when they registered the party, despite Liberal protests. The two major parties then passed a law to stop that.

But if we're going to start legislating Political Party names, the Liberals should be the first ones forced to change their name. The New Liberals are more entitled to the "Liberal" name based on their policies.

There's only one thing worse than the other side (tweedledum-tweedledee) winning.

And that's allowing anyone else entry to the game.

Thinking of basic copywrite/ trademarking laws, I can see what they haven't allowed the name. It is super close to those already out there can could cause confusion.

A guy put up a Go-Fund Me page to help rent a billboard in Glasgow 'informing' people about Scott Morrisons corruption, deceit, No-Show for the climate summit, etc...

He only wanted enough money for 1 Billboard - ended up getting enough for 3 ..
