Trade period 2021

Gold coast only have pick 3 now. They'll need some points for their academy lad.
Even if they do use pick 3 in 2 years time he is out.
Lets see if our boys move in.
Wouldnt be hard persuading Dew.
A Big Mac meal might just get us a pick 3

Still a bit to go in this trade period but I wonder if our Mr nice guy approach when helping Butler Lloyd etc get to their club of choice by giving them away for peanuts will come back to bite us cause when we might want something ourselves now & no one wants to play with us in return.
Yep spot on. Everyone is lining up for their #Tigerfreebie

'The AFL commission has granted the Suns their vital concession to retain the ability to pre-list academy players outside of the draft.'

Basically GCS can pre-list 3 Academy players straight on to the Rookie list before the draft and not even need to go to the draft if they want.

Probably thinking use pick 3 and take 2 Academy players. Maybe Pick 3 is in play also.

Please give details of which trades haven’t worked out, and what you would have done differently.

Don't you need to take 3 ND picks including rookie upgrades though?

The Academy picks must count as ND picks for GCS even though they are pre-listed. I think they also can put them straight on to the rookie list (not 100% sure this year).

Can see why they are trading out picks.

You're probably upset with the trade for Dan Minogue from Collingwood in 1919?

Frenchy no one wants to play with us because they fear us. In the eyes of the competition we are a terrifying proposition when up and about!

If no one wants to play with us I'm staggered to understand how we have 6 picks in the first three rounds.

Seriously lots of assumptions in this and other threads based on absolutely no inside knowledge.

And personally in a draft where players between 5 and 30 are meant to be even I think I'd prefer 26 AND 28 compared to just 17.

Cerra, Hewitt and Young.
Do the Blues have a limitless salary cap?
Jack Martin, Zac Williams, Cripps, McKay and others on massive coin.
Something stinks.

10 days Kongy
Biggest load of shiit ive ever seen.
Clubs scared to off load just in case they become stars at the opposition.
Clubs paying overs on king duds.
I liked the old days.
43 trades in 1 day.
Hawthorn off loading Croad.
Off course to Freo
The same club that traded out Andrew McLeod.
The day Wallace told Ottens to never to come back and we scored gold that turned to *smile* in about 15 minute in 2004.
This trade period is a joke.
As soon as the AFL introduced you can trade picks, this is all that will happen in the future.
I half decent player will get traded and about 20 that will go to there new club and disappear into the Abyss in 2 years time.
Get rid of trading for picks and real trades will come back.
We have 56 picks and we will only end up using 5.
Top class

The AFL needs to change trade period up.
The only time you can trade picks should be on draft night.
When you have only 3 minutes to make up your mind.

Interesting that Lewis Youngs manager has said that the Blues and Dogs have agreed on a pick for him, but the Dogs are just moving a few picks around.

Would we go for their Pick 23?

Agree on keeping our picks in the 20s. Ideally we get more.
