Just watched 'Nobody',with Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman). 90 minutes of incredibly violent escapist *smile*.
Loved it.

Saw the promo earlier in the year and only noticed it on Amazon lastnight. Really like Bob Odenkirk as an actor. .... he's just a bit *smile* crazy!
Hadn't seen Christopher Lloyd in a longtime and thought he was possibly no longer with us..... so I googled him. He may well eventually die choking on wedding cake!

The genre ain't my cuppa but Dune was pretty boring.

Yeah, it's about the first half of the book and so not a lot really happened. Made a fair attempt to convey the complexity of the mythology and the alliances and so on, and the visuals were amazing.

A struggle if you aren't really into the whole Dune thing though.

Watched Draft Day on Stan.... it's a few years old but sort of appropriate as the team concerned had pick 7.... just like us....
Won't post the outcome at the risk of spoiling it for those who've never seen it.
I liked it ..... 3.5stars from me.

I really like DD.

Penguin Bloom was better than I thought it was going to be.

Hired Gun. Solid doco on Amazon Prime about the professional musicians who tour and play with the stars for little recognition outside those in the know. Billy Joel comes across as a real jerk and unsurprisingly, Alice Cooper a legend. (I saw Alice play at Rod Laver several years ago and his band was fantastic.)

It was OK. 20ft from Stardom was better and kinda the same thing.

No Time To Die is a poorly executed mess IMO.

Looking forward to a straight up spy thriller for the next one (without the baggage) but not holdin’ my breath.

Great White on Amazon Prime, target audience might have been LTRTR and his shark thread. ;)

In all seriousness though, absolute pile of crap, only thing it is good for is making you appreciate how good Jaws was.
I watched it on Binge (funny how a movie gets released to 2 different services) and I wouldn’t say it was crap but it was predictable, lacked tension and ends up being like so many shark movies since Jaws. Dull.
