2022 Fixture

Pre-season games start tomorrow. Doubt they'd be televised unless streaming by clubs.

I'm a bit paranoid playing at Pussy Park with SHocking around. Just hope we don't get sabotaged...
I think the practice matches (this weekend only, distinct from pre-season game next week) are on Kayo exclusively (not fox footy). the week after is on both

Gill the dill says they "plan for normality in 2022" but here we are a couple of weeks out from the season starting and we have no clue about when (and maybe where) games will be played after May 14 (round 9). Not what I'd call "normal" and makes it bloody hard for people (interstate & country) to plan much.

I'd rather they put out a proper fixture with the rider "subject to change should Covid ......blah blah).
Nothing to do with covid… that’s their cover… it’s purely for TV purposes.

This weekend are only scratch matches. TBH it's not really worth it for Foxtel to cover...........

Finally released R20-R22.

I’ve been waiting for this to be released so I can book Port Adelaide Away.

Pretty strange we are playing Brisbane on a Sunday, but I can never really understand the logic of the AFL.

Rumours are circulating that we will only have the floating fixture for the last 8 rounds next year (R1-15 will be fixed). Perhaps common sense prevails. I have been a supporter of the floating fixture, but you just can’t rely on the AFL to get it right or to announce games with appropriate time to spare.

we have been dudded this year, so many twilight games, so many early Sunday games, and the Port game isnt on FTA.

i dont like the floating fixture anyway, but i can see the merit, in theory of having the best games at the best times.
but the AFL still stuff it up eg the Dogs v Hawks on FTA Friday night, while we play the Cats at 4:30 Saturday. and their fixturing guy is called some sort of guru!

Why didn't those AFL buffoons schedule these mid-winter Thursday night games for the warmer climes like Brisbane or Perth ?

I liked when they announced the floating fixture next season is cancelled, until they said 'only up to R19'. So, next season we'll know who plays when and where up to R19. I'm baffled.

The excuse the afl give out for a rolling fixture is so they can schedule in form teams in prime tv slots to maximize ratings………………….. so they plonk eagles vs druggies in prime time Friday night

And rightly so, there's great history in this game. Apparently Sheedy waved a jacket in a WC v Essendon game.....

The afl should have taken it more seriously then and not schedule it as part of a double header. It deserved its own stand alone marquee time slot :)

Sorry, Red.

You're applying too much logic and common sense for the AFL Clowns

Going up for the Gold Coast game in few weeks. Is there a Richmond supporters function before the game. Thanks.

Half your luck - could be a really good game to watch.

Wave when your at the ground - I should be able to spot you pretty easily - you will be the only one in the stands.
