Round 2 - changes to the team. Richmond v GWS

Our reserves team can't beat other reserves teams so can't see us beating GWS.

I cant recall us being less of a chance to win this millennium.

can we start the round 3 changes thread?

McIntosh is a huge in for the middle of the ground with his two-way running. Miller was rock solid on debut, so there's a fair chance he'll do an admirable job of covering Grimes.

We could be 2 for 2 with the above replacements.

Parker is a lower probability to cover at the same standard, but is a chance. And Dow is the young, talented kid with potential who is unlikely to step up in a big way at his age, but still, there is a small chance of him breaking out to become a promising midfielder for us right now.

Of all the ins, I hope Dow is the biggest surprise.

Really 7? We have high draftees from privileged backgrounds that still do not have the required tank to play AFL after being in the system for yrs. And you want to punt Stackey?
Sorry, just seems to be the same old stuff. Party in the off season unfit for the season.

Out from our best 22: Dusty, Prestia, Grimes, Vlastuin, Lambert. 5 of our top 10 players out. After injuries last year, you surely can't say it's just unlucky

Dusty / Vlas / Jack are unlucky, and not age-related.

Grimes / Prestia / Lambert are to be expected given their injury history and age.

Probably a 50/50 split between expectation and luck

what’s going on down there? Injuries every year.
Lambert 33, Reiwoldt 33, Martin 30, Grimes 30, Prestia 29. Same pattern as last year, older players getting injured. Look at our next crop of 25 to 27yos. Nanks, Aarts, Short, Parker, Soldo, Castagna, Rioli. That's it. It's over. Bite the bullet and play the younger guys. RCD is in his 4th year and has played 9 games for God's sake. Pick 20. Been a big mistake holding on for dear life. Needed to make the tough decisions last year, take the batterings and play the youngsters.

Yep. Lucky was 2 or 3 years with Tigers in their prime and very few injuries. On average every club has quite a few injuries. We're not unlucky atm. No coincidence at all that our older players are continually getting injured and make up the majority of our current injuries.

Either go full bore at winning another flag by using one of the 2443 picks Clarke had or sit back and cop what everyone expected to happen last October.

80% of the kids on this forum knew this was going to happen.
I can't believe Cotchin is playing when it looks like he has an arthroscope on his knee during the week.

Isn’t Lambert 30?
