Game Day - Geelong V Richmond

Don’t know if it was mentioned earlier but Marlion was one of the key reasons we got back into the game and ultimately in front. His work in the third especially was Andrew McLeod the stuff.

Was the prick even questioning if the Soldo change was legal?? Says he knew nothing about the rules on using a player dropped as the sub. Is this d-head for real??

Scumbag praises Stewart for what he did. States it wasn't deliberate, but if he brings it up with no-one asking, it WAS deliberate. Just hides all *smile* on what really happened.
I am telling you. It is the Scott way.
They will take out a player each game. They tried it all of the 1st Qtr.

we know what they do - and I am proud of how we responded. This game will give us a lot of confidence if we meet them again in the finals.

Great effort to fight back I thought we were going to get flogged. Top games by Nank, Pickett, Baker, Tarrant, Rioli, Grimes.
Critical defensive errors were costly again. Eg. In the last qtr a marking contest on the hbf with Cats in attack, 3 tigers went up and instead of thumping it towards our goal, someone did a big clearing punch towards Cats end resulting in a goal. Who did that? Even juniors are taught not to defend like that.

We have struggled all year with forwards marking high balls.
Himaberg hasn't been seen since that day at the Adelaide oval.
Reid for Sydney.
All we needed to do was cut that ball off but we not only didn't cut it off we allowed a part time forward to take a Carey like mark.
What the *smile* was BigV thinking.

The two incidents were nothing alike.

Stewart lined him up. It was deliberate. Houli was trying to shrug of a serial pest tagger and an errant fist hit him in the head when he wasn't even looking at him. Houli deserved his two weeks but then we got the AFL "manifestly inadequate" garbage and it was increased to 4. A complete miscarriage of justice; just unbelievable of what the AFL does to Richmond. In my decades of watching football I struggle to think of a fairer player than Houli but he was given no credence by the AFL or the media. Witch hunt to the extreme.

But you watch with Stewart. It'll be "oh he's a top bloke", "oh he's remorseful", it wasn't deliberate blah blah blah. The ironic thing he will get less than Houli did. Do you think the AFL will call it "manifestly inadequate".

But it's all good. His actions won Geelong the game so both they and the AFL are happy little campers. "*smile* Richmond" they will snigger behind their hands. Gil and Shocking and Salty and Pepper will all be circle jerking as we speak.
Couldn’t have said it better! Benny Gale needs to be the next CEO.

We always beat them when it counts.
They are a bunch of snipers and frontrunners coached by a spineless dog.

Under Scott I wouldn’t be surprised they’re after any advantage also tried to get Bolton a few times
Pussies were out to belt Us in the 1st qtr
They were.! Agree.

Seemed to unsettle us for a quarter and a half then clicked into gear.

A few what ifs moments and we don’t squander a 17 point lead and finish over them.

‘Then I wake up’

Still really gutted, upset , disappointed and angry….

This loss along with the Adelaide loss will haunt us at years end.

Kochies in Adelaide, Bears, Frockers, and Suns in Metricon are the 4 key games from here.

Tigers must win them all to give themselves any chance of top 4, we might've just let it slip today.

I share your pain, but Vlastuin was out of position to be able to spoil the mark.

He was behind him and it was a bit of a sky ball and would have required a vertical leap that he’s just doesn’t have.

This season has had too many what ifs and close misses and maybes.

And they are starting to add up toward a missed opportunity.

Swans, Blues and Saints losses say hello. 4-6 goals up in all games and lost.
Spot on Riddler.

Round 1 we lost Dion early and they killed us out of the middle with underdone players like Cotch and Graham unable to run it out.

The Swans loss I forgot about how I dont know that was another umpire raping and another game squandered. yep.

Saints was another umpire reaming our blokes seemed to actually give up in that one.

We hold on in just 2 of those 5 if not 3 we are sitting pretty now we might be back out of the 8 if the skunks win.
