Owen Leonard. Remember the name boys and girls. The journo who wrote the piece and obviously hoping to make a name for himself. Got his job at the H/S in Dec as a cadet journalist. Maybe Robbo has promoted him? Absolute gutter stuff.

Might need to pay Owen a ‘visit’ and remind him of the importance of responsible and ethical journalism

It's been a while since I've been at a strip club. But my recollection is that some have a no touching policy while others allow touching for an increased fee.

If it's the latter and Dusty has forked out an extra pineapple or two to have a touch, surely there can be nothing for him to be penalised for?

I’d let Dusty touch my tit for free and he wouldn’t need to ask permission

It's an old video that has been hawked around several times over the years. It's a club event in the sense that it is a players *smile* up, a Mad Monday type thing.

I guess now someone has stopped trying to sell it and put it out into the public domain there isn't much choice but to report on it. People whacking the media should remember they had the chance to buy it many times and never did.

Not sure why people get so worked up over this stuff, Dustin isn't phased about it coming out. It taught him an important lesson to make sure your reptile mates aren't videoing you when you are off duty, which will have saved him many similar issues since.
Thanks for posting that; good perspective.

The problem is that the hand ringers and teeth gnashers are now out in force beating this up. Heard Tracey Holmes on the ABC this morning calling for him to be stood down from the game tonight pending a full investigation. FFS

I get what you say about the media not previously releasing it and I probably have as much, or more, of an issue with the scumbags who film and then deliberately release this stuff for personal gain. But the question remains; why did the HUN release it on the eve of the finals and Dusty's first game back in 9 weeks?

No way that it is a coincidence. It is an absolute stitch up. Disgraceful from the HUN.

He and Cornes what do expect!
Whateley is a ….his opening was on the Dusty front page and that the AFL have to investigate..

Trying to say on par with Jordy who got a $25k fine and Mr Sniffy from the Dogs who got suspended for 2 weeks..

While we’re at it let’s investigate the “weapon” and his tenure at the handbaggers. Given there’s no statute of limitations on morality according to this clown

Yep. Get the rookie to fire the gun and then come in over the top as the morality police.

Robbo as the morality police. God give me strength

The media didn't set the agenda here though, they have refused to use it when it has been shopped around.

The person concerned has attempted to make money off it and once that has been unsuccessful they have spread it around for free.

Once it became public the media doesn't have a choice but to report on it. The best player of the past decade, if not ever, in a video touching a naked woman is a story any way you look at it. If it was Degoey and the media ignored it once it was public this site would melt down with bias accusations. Blaming the media is a cop out in my opinion.

Unfortunately he allowed himself to be filmed in a compromising position and it is a poor look. We can all appreciate the extenuating circumstances but he has done the wrong thing and he is just going to have to cop what comes until it blows over, acknowledge the mistake, apologise and let everyone know it was a long time ag and he has learnt his lesson.

Seriously, did we pay for this to come out?

Because if there was any lingering doubt as to whether we had the eye of the tiger in 2022, it’s gone now.

Whateley going coco bananas.

Switching SEN off for a few hours.

Do Yourself a favour waiting, switch it off permanently, I have. It's a very grubby radio station, full of self righteous, self promoting, grandstanding, AFL head office sycophantic flogs.

From what you can see in the 20 second video the stripper certainly didn't appear to have any issue with him.

As usual the hand ringers and teeth gnashers are out in force turning it into a massive over the top beat up.

Unpopular opinion:

I really enjoy Whateley, his erudition is a breath of fresh air when the alternatives are drunks like Blobbo on one side and dumb ex-footballers on the other

But I won’t listen today.

If consent is the issue I wonder if the HS tracked down the woman and got her consent to publish the video

That's fair enough and agree with most of what you say but I am questioning the timing? Why today? On the eve of his comeback game and in an elimination final. Maximum impact is the reason. Opportunistic garbage.

The HUN didn't have to post the video. Has it been released elsewhere; genuine question.

But the scumbag who filmed and tried to release for personal gain is the real culprit. What an arsewipe.
