There’s been smoke all year and I hope it comes to nothing and Dusty stays.
But love them or hate them, the likes of Scoop Maclure are professional, experienced journos who cannot afford to make something out of nothing. The industry is too small to burn sources like that.
I am absolutely prepared to accept that motivation has been lacking for Dusty in 2022. Next year is another matter and I hope he uses his time off wisely.

Agree with all here but the simple truth though is that he is not a million-dollar player anymore, and no other club will entertain the prospect of taking over such a contract. So we will have him for two more years. My only issue with Dusty is that he won't even speak to the tiger army under the protection of the Tiger media. He used to do this well. There is a perception that he is jaded and disenchanted from his own club. He needs to sit down over the off-season with the admin and work out a way to be a better ambassador for the club, as his off field role of selling memberships and sponsorships may be part of his future value.
Now that we are out, that's Dimma telling home truths. And it's a huge shift from the "goes with our blessing" mantra.
If he wants out, it will be him asking. And Dimma just let everyone know that.
Maybe that's a preemptive strike by the club knowing what's coming.
But it's a very interesting and notable shift.
Would rather agree on a generous pay out if we are to get more of the same. The idea that newbie MJ gifts him a goal in order to fire him up is concerning. Dusty has been well compensated by the club. Richmond has been supportive all along. Time for reciprocation. He got down to his undies for Bonds, he sold his fitness program, but would not speak to the Tiger fans. His two finger salute to the cameras after a game earlier this year said it all.
Something is amiss and needs to be sorted out before next season.

Without him we dont get a single flag. I dont know how many times this needs to be drilled into fans heads.
I suspect Dusty has struggled with depression for the past 12 months, having endured a horror year. The recent injury setback would have only exacerbated this.
It's what makes the media hype about a 7 year old video so disgraceful.
I hope Dusty is able to refresh over the summer, git fit/stronger and get his head right.

Arguably our greatest ever Tiger , however I’m unfazed on what ever decision he makes , yes I’d love to see him retire a Tiger , however if he does move on to another club its not the worst thing in the position we are in right now , frees up cap space and most likely ads a good pick and if he does just give it away all together , we’ll he’s allready given us 2 times more then we could have dreamed of

I know I should expect it by now but reading some of the posts on the last couple of pages makes me sick.
