Well, he played shortstop as a kid and pitcher as well but being that size would be disadvantageous for pitching at MLB level. The fact he was drafted in the 37th round suggests that. But he had a great throwing motion in high school (not sidearm either).

Yeah I had a guy I work with from here, 6'4 pitched minor league's over there nearly 20 years ago now, under the Minnesota Twins brand. Never pitched major league but agree, you need to be 6'4 plus to pitch. Randy Johnson man
