Great news. From what i was told he chatted to Port and told them he wanted to come back to Adelaide.
Stick that one up your bum hole Karen!

Yeah hopefully he has signed on for $50K for the first year (obviously increases to market rate in subsequent years) and those losers at Arsendon still have to cough up around $550K next year. I reckon that whole scenario sucks; he had a contract and Arsendon sacked him. They should have to pay him what he is owed regardless of whether he gets another job. They made their bed they should lie in it.

Anyway this is a great move and it's good to have him back. I look forward to him tightening up our defence, developing our young players and making us harder to score against.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere this can't happen. AFL is onto it

Yeah I know wishful thinking. It's annoying that Essendon don't have to stump up the full value of the contract from which they sacked him. They made the choice they should pay the entire value.

Rapt with this our defence needs a bit of work tighten up and will be a great benefit to Balta ,Gibcus and our young backs.

My sources tell me that now that Rutten is a Richmond assistant coach that Essendon are interested in appointing him as their coach for 2023. Stay tuned.

Our weaknesses this year were contested ball in the midfield and a leaky defence.

Taranto and Hopper and Truck are great moves to address these issues.

Cant wait to see what he does with Gibcus and Balta

Likewise. Balta really needs to get Trucked as well.
Broady, Tigga, Grimes, Dave and Rancey got Trucked, so hopefully, Noah, and Gibbus can get Trucked as well.

Great get at the right time.

A quality defensive coach to settle the back line down again.

So glad for him after what that Shithousse did to him.

Will be very well received back at Punt Road in familiar surrounds.

For mine it was as good as done after the final siren sounded on round 23, Dimma wouldve been in his ear before the ball was even bounced.

The interaction between Ben and the Tigers players after the game spoke volumes more.

Welcome back to the RFC Ben !! (y)

I am so happy he's back. Under Leppitsch and Truck our backline was number 1 so let's hope we can get there again.
