Damien Hardwick

Eeerrrmm... Isn't it also the coaches job to get the best out of the list at hand?

Unfortunately, with all the injuries we have had in 2023, Hardwick's job has been harder than in the majority of seasons past.

Just a fresh list eh Cartman? the only way Dimma gets a "fresh list" is to go coach another club.

Caro was just speculating

having said that, she raises a fair point in that if Benny leaves, other dominos may fall

It seems some Are getting nervous about rumblings at Richmond.
domino effects and all.

on Hardwick he’s accustomed to “big clubs”
not little clubs.

Ha ha. He only praised him when forced to with more questions. There’s something more.
Rubbish. Go listen again. He was conscious not to drive a bus over him.
He said he's a potential match winner/game changer. They just want him to get there faster.

You can't get much better compliment than that.

Do you really think he's gonna virtually walk out on us this quick? He's settled with us for over a decade and does look a bit burnt out to me, so why start all over at another club and especially interstate? Port looks to be on the up now.
Mail about is that Ken Hinkley will coach Gold Coast in 2024 . Dimma might need a change and it’s no secret his association with Port . Who knows . He may need a change and there is the vehicle for change

Dimma will want and enjoy this new rebuild , get behind him within 2 years we 're back where we belong

Praised but with sounds of doubt. Seen this stuff before (in employment) and bias plays a part.
Considering the game goes for four qtrs not one and a bit, then some restricted praise was probably warranted. The Cummerbund's got game, just needs to grow n bring it more consistently during the game.

Bit laughable how some are bagging Van ROOOyen for his late 3 goal burst when he got a bit of mis match as nothing special, yet are bagging Dimma for not kissing the Cummerbund on the todger for his early 3 goal burst.
The level of input for the rest of the game from these two would have been fairly similar yet the Cummerbund is more experienced.

Neither will happen. Just said Port's on the up especially with Horny in the team. I even think Dew will stay. Dimma's still animated with this team which shows no signs of wanting to leave.

Benny won’t get the AFL job. And we all know why.

I don’t think he will leave. The Punt Road redevelopment is his baby. He will see it through.

Still laugh at that presser Dimma did years ago shown on Footy Classified's ad break promo.

"Next question....next question.....thanks Tone(?)....oh come on mate give me a spell" :mhihi

Na. He bagged him mainly. Recognised he was over the top and threw in some praise. But it was awfully critical of a 12 gamer.

To be fair Cumberland did go missing for 3 quarters, I can imagine Hardwick would be disappointed by that. It didnt sound that bad from what I heard. Nothing that wasnt accurate. Surely Cumberland not that precious.

We're the Magpies, actually. First game this Saturday. Got a good side, I think. Andrew Swallow coaching the men, yours truly coaching the women. No bongs, mushrooms strictly post-match.
Update: Men won 15.29.119 (wet and windy) to 1.0.6. We're gonna *smile* the flag in.
Women got the perfect start for our rags to riches story: had 9 players, needed to borrow 3 from the opposition just to get the minimum for a game, lost 1.1.7 to 10.5.65.

We'll have at least 13 this week, so things are looking up already. It's gonna be like the Mighty Ducks.
