I wouldn’t say ‘nobody’s noticed’. We have all noticed and prob most of footy world has noticed. Their hubris knows no bounds.

North would be mad to trade pick 2 & 3 for pick 1, Reid isn't worth two players in a pool consisting of McKercher, Curtin, Duursma & Watson.
I don't think they would be trading both. It would be something like 2 or 3 as well as either 15, 17 or 18 to get pick 1. I reckon they end up doing it personally as I think they want Reid.
Lets say they do, 3 and 15 for Pick 1. They then draft Reid with 1, bid on Walters with 2, then take McKercher with 3. West Coast then take Curtin with 4. It seems all so obvious, but North haven't done the trade yet for some reason. I reckon then either with the other pick they get from North (15 which becomes 19 or 20) they probably take Mitch Edwards. They are aiming to build their spine first, and do it quickly and all this makes sense, so that by the time they can compete again, Oscar Allen is still young enough to impact
3 + 15 is short changing West Coast, it would have to be two picks inside the top 6 to get West Coast interested.
Driving back from the shops this morning, lots of cars on the road obviously for the referendum voting, waiting behind a line of cars at the red light, I glanced at the pork-arse 4WD in front of me with the back window full of discoloured and partly-stripped North Melbourne member stickers......I laughed.
