2024 Fixture

They better give us a run later in the season like we had in 2019 - 8 games in a row at the G to finish the season! That sure got oppo fans wound up :ROFLMAO:. But in all honesty they better look after us later in the year after what they’re doing to us early doors
You realise supposed 'favours' later in the year are useless when your season was cooked months ago; that is, locked out of the 8 with too much ground to make up.

Its all about having the RFC cast adrift as early as possible.

Reminds me of 2014 when we played GC in Round 1, and we lost that game. Then we played Carlton in Round 2 off a short break and we won.
But Cartoon were crap then; better now. Who finished higher in '22, played finals? But who gets all the advantages?

Ranking the opponents we play twice:

1) Carlton - good team but overachieved in 2023
2) Port Adelaide - Mediocre team
3) Gold Coast - Medicore
4) Saints - Making up numbers
5) Fremantle - Rebuilding bottom 4 team
6) Hawthorn - Rebuilding bottom 4 team
Carl only had a decent 2nd half of the yr, were bottom 4 at the bye rounds, port finished the yr off like a rubbish side as did Aints. the other 3 are only mediocre sides as well. No guaranteed contenders among that lot, 2 Finalists at the very most.

Of course - new CEO same hate.
Of course, let's not forget that despite the "wide ranging search" the replacement was sitting in the next office all along. The next CEO will now be sitting in his old office.

IMO they want to see how we go before giving us any Blockbuster games later in the season. On field and also attendance as well.

Oh well, this is what you get when you think you can challenge the AFL. The members are the ones that get punished. The club better start *smile* playing ball with those corrupt pricks, like every other club does

Notice how we’re the only club that haven’t yet commented in the draw? Apparently the AFL’s PR department can’t work out how to put a positive spin on ‘this *smile* sucks you pack of corrupt pricks!’

Couldn't be a worse draw if they tried. Three flags, top three in attendance means SFA. Back down to Geelong for 2000 seats?

Not so sure on those rankings. Reckon each of those have our measure on their day.
