I can't believe how small the crowd is today at the G. Looks like something out of the late 80s.
It's one thing to have 'Opening Round' gimmicks supporting growth in the Northern franchi$es but at what expense to the heartland of footy?
Probably cost 5-10k attendance to this Dogs/Dees game.

WTF is Dwayne Russell going on about. Ball appeared a long way out there for that Petrucelle goal (way more obvious than the 1 we had on Thursday night). Dwayne said that Laura Kane is looking at the chip in the ball thats used in soccer for goals that cross the goalline. He said that the AFL are trying to figure out what to do with it, and would we call that back. What else would they be investing the technology for if they WEREN'T going to call that back

It's hard.
Sundays evenings your trying to chill out before a week's work.
They have done it to bend us over.
There's no reason we couldn't play on Saturday at the G or 1pm Sunday.
