Oh dear M. Rioli and Mansfield still in starting 18. Chalk this up as another loss
It’s unbelievable under our third coach those 2 (MJ Mansell) are still gifted games
Who is the mystery man that keeps selecting them?

Probably when asked they do
Asked or told? Livingstone would be Oozes boss, wouldn't he?

See plenty of footy bosses in the box..... just don't recall them looking like they're making moves..... just my observation.

I read an article somewhere that Yze asked him to be in the Coach’s Box on match days, I think to evaluate his performance and make suggestions where required

Who is listed at Centre Half back Kmac. Yes indeed he is !

My point wasn't a comment about playing Kmac back, more that you said he could play on the Texan. The only one known as the Texan in the AFL is Tex Walker who playe for the Crows hence why I asked the question as you seemed a bit confused who we were playing.

Good call on Kmac being selected back, but it does make us look very small in the backline, if they get good use out of the middle this could get messy.

Well only 2 tippers from the Herald and none from the Age think we will win.

Is this the free shot we need to get our season up and running.

If we bring whole of ground team defence for 4 qtrs, then I reckon we are an outside chance.

So who evaluates Livingstones performance?
its unbelievable team selection is so conservative nothing has changed under 3 coaches

Problem with such a large bench is that a few players will again be held back from playing football interstate with the VFL team on Saturday morning. Unless they play a half and fly back early.
In particular id like to see Brown and Samson getting more continuity in the Magoos rather than sitting in the stands.
Looking forward to McCauliffe and Sonsie working together in the VFL. Hopefully both not there for long

At least two of the eight named on the bench will play VFL, possibly even three with one to play a half and then fly back to be emergency on Sunday.

Out of the 8 named, reckon 1 will definitely play VFL and 2 will sit in the stands myself. Potentially 1 of the 2 could play a half interstate and fly back but doubt it somehow. Emergencies obviously need to be fresh in case of a late change.

You don't need two fresh emergencies on top of the sub, though. If that happens, the excrement has well and truly belted the turbine.

Geez. That reeks of lack of self belief.
Ouzo's job is senior coach, he owns the box and his assistants. If he's gunna have Livingstone in the box to oversee n evaluate his performance then Livo should be hiding somewhere way up the back of the box with a quick bit of feedback during the breaks. Not sitting on his shoulder n advising as they go.

A bit of a worry when we are going into this game effectively two players down as two picked in the 18 have shown they are not not up to AFL level. We shouldn't gift games and they should have to earn the right to play. MRJ and Mansell don't
