Game Day - Tiges V Swans

Pickett and Junior were massive in the 3rd quarter.
Something we have shown under Yze is a willingness to not give in.
Amazing win.

What a win that most of us didn’t expect.

They had a crack all over the field & thoroughly deserved the win

Coaches might blame some of that on fatigue but reality is it’s the one area we have to improve on. Can see what a difference Brown, Campbell & even Sonsie (with limited touches) make kicking the ball compared to Pickett, Bolton and Maurice junior. To be fair to the latter, that’s probably the best two quarters he’s ever played after half time.

Pleased with Miller down back, Young was better after halftime and by having them there it allowed Vlaustin (superb) & Broad to intercept. D. Rioli superb too.

Not sure about forward mix - Lefau looks slow to me, despite the two goals & I think the time has come to play a genuine second ruck and let Balta be a forward - he was spent today.

Bring McAuliffe in and see if we can beat the Saints - they aren’t that good.

Perhaps lafau is slow as far as when he's spent? Was fastest sprint on ground at over 34 km p.h wow quick

Miller did a real good job today.

Shame Lynch is injured now, would have liked Balta to play on freekickMaxKing next week

So many great moments. Hate to single one out.

But that D. Rioli chase down and bump/tackle in the middle of the ground with around 3 mins to go was seriously epic.

I was already on my feet at that stage but don’t know if I have ever cheered with such gusto in any Tiger game before.

Loved it !!

that's a huge win - everyone put in today ... kids grew up a little out there ..

curious... where have all the half time naysayers gone? "60 point drubbing" someone said

do these types even support RFC?

Wow, down the coast for the weekend and was expecting nothing. So, haven't seen the game.
Didn't look at the scores until 3/4 time and then not until the end.
Rapt, beating the early season form team is a great win.
Good on ya Yze, first win.
Will download and watch when back home.

Well, I admit to predicting a shellacking…. Was a nice surprise after exiting a grand final nbl loss…

This was coming and no surprise once the boys played close to 4qtrs they win! Love the style and what about holding a raging high scoring swans to that total!!! Played all good sides to date (Gold Coast who knows but far from our best side). All the injuries and changes - a seriously courageous and inspiring win. To knock of the swans is vfl also very good - with some strong cub performances! Will be more downs but the dna is being set and looks sustainable and effort based! Just how we like the team to look.
Well done Yze and the whole club! Keep it up!! Eat em alive!

We were never as bad as the darksiders have painted us in the last week or two and of course one good win doesn’t mean we are suddenly a great team.
However, we have some really good kids and this team is clearly playing for this coach.
I am looking forward to what is to come this year, we are going to claim some scalps along the way.

Loved our response.
They kick 6 in a row and it looks ugly.
The response was mature and aggressive.
Love the inbound kick to the guts.

Well I gave us Jack *smile* so I am absolutely stunned.

Against Sydney is huge cause we haven’t matched up well against them for a few years now.

The value of Lynch is immense - you forget what he brings to the team, he just keeps us in the contest and puts us in a position to win it.

Best overall game from MJr and Mansell I have seen - they both stepped up and lifted the team with their speed and class (yes I said it).

Ross and Dow were part of a midfield mix that matched and beat the Sydney midfield - wow

Campbell and Brown will be players - they play like footballers

Lafeu looks a bit hesitant at times that makes him look slow, reckon he just needs 20 games to belong.

This is a win for our youth and the coach.

Wrapt that out first win wasn't an easy kill as our game has taken all teams so far to the edge.
Huge result for Yze.
The boys looked stoked for him.
