We went in with no right to think we could win. The boys did a terrific job and showed us what they are capable of.
Only reason for an out this week should be ‘unavailable through injury’.
Unfortunately it appears that Lynch won’t play for that reason.
His replacement should be Dusty, assuming his fitness.
(Banks the sub also will take a rest to be replaced by McAuliffe who shouldn’t be sub given the occasion).

I don't rate Ryan as a forward but agree to try him again as we need real height in the forwards with Lynch missing. MacA is getting rave reviews at VFL level so I am looking forward to seeing him on the big stage

Ross a tad unlucky but we are building some nice depth and I’d prefer to see McAuliffe debut.

As an aside, I wouldn't bring Grimes back in unless we need to.

I haven't seen our defence as well balanced as that since our premiership years. Young and Miller are two tall stoppers who can compete in the air, and Sydney could not find easy targets because of this. When their tall forwards got on the end of one, it was at least a contest. This also meant that Vlastuin was able to intercept in a way that he hasn't since Astbury was in the side.

Do not change that backline.

Why would you drop ross and bring in graham ,?who hasnt played that well for the last 3 years .Ross has gone ,way , way past Graham .The whole side has

Simply no excuse to not clamp down or make Wanganeen-Milera accountable. He is their go to man but doesn’t like it rough. Likewise with Hill. Stop or nullify those two plus limit Steele and King = Tigers win

Agree 100% on graham .Campbell ,mansell and mj,s hard tackling and pressure is our future ,not Jack graham ,whom i love but to be honest is just an average foward at best
