Kane McAuliffe

Dominates first 2 games in the seconds and straight in. When was the last time that happened? Dusty was straight in so he doesn't count.

Penguin. Hah hah hah. What a barren, dry, desolate desert for decent footballers. A state embarrassment. Shocking.

Only our CEO and orchestrator of our dynasty, Butchy Gale, Plapp, Robertson and don't forget the high flying acrobatic Leysy Days.

Check out the video with all the players and McAuliffe calls his parents
Kane McAuliffe calls his Mum and Dad to reveal the news he will be making his AFL debut this weekend in Adelaide.

Some exciting news ahead of #GatherRound...

McAuliffe calls his parents view on this link> https://tige.rs/Rd4Debut

Link didn't work for me only got the KFC ad, any way halfway through a 3-piece feed and i must add get the gravy instead of the Potatoe and gravy. Dunking your chips is the best. (Have this kid in my supercoach team knew i would not have to wait long) with sonsie will be a great double act for years to come.

Well, I must admit, it’s only a small hamlet so can’t expect much. Does it even exist anymore ? Merged with Pluverstone or whatever it’s called ? Galveston ? No that’s in Texas.

Never every merge with those pricks. Vermin. They wear red and black - enough said.

Now there is a town that hasn't produced anything.

When you click on this link, just scroll down you'll see Kano calling his folks. Also, another vid with the boys and Lonergan when he gets told he's debuting.

Bit earlier than I thought he would debut, not much experience in the VFL. But, he has performed so well in the VFL, why not?

Hope he is not the sub and also, they have to give him a few games.

If he plays and gets 2 possessions and is soundly beaten he must be picked again for at least a few weeks. It is a big shift to seniors and, while I hope and expect he will do well, all I want to see is that he tries. If he is trying but the adjustment takes more than 1 game so be it.

Let's go, he is an exciting prospect.

ESPN took him at 50 in their phantom, House of Football (cringe) and pre’s own Mr poshman at 57, tigers at 40.

VFL nerds, is there any other 1st year player racking em up like Kane? The only reasons I can find that may suggest why he was taken so late are he was top aged, was big (man child effect) and played in a weak state team.

Someone was even giving Caro *smile* on the big footy podcast about us selecting him.

Very strange. I think he’ll slot in to our midfield nicely and show a few recruiters up.

Well done to the kid. Thoroughly deserves the opportunity. Has dominated against men in the reserves and won’t be out off place come Sunday.

Well done mini Cripps.
*smile* Cripps. Our bloke ain't no clay-footed plodder.

He carried an injury last year, pretty sure. Hence only averaged 17 disposals in the Champs.

Form lines for McA.

Will Graham (GCS) went head to head with him for a quarter or more and got square or better. But in the half leading up to that McA was better than 17yo Leonardo Lombard who was real good. Our man was BOG.

Caiden Cleary (SYD) was beaten last week but not flogged. Shaded. By McA. Taylor Adams was BOG in the first half but was subbed off.

McAuliffe was scrappy last week but got good numbers including 8 tackles. He got 9 coach votes. Two BOGs and 30 touches a game so far.

Clay Hall (WCE) resumed from injury last week in the WAFL and got 18 IIRC. Resuming from injury in the VFL last week Jake Rogers (GCS) got 20 and 12 tackles. Zane Duursma still mercurial - but in the AFL.

Tholstrup (Melb) getting 18 or 20. Gothard (GWS) still injured. Freijah (NM) is getting over 20. Di Mattia (Coll) still injured. Billy Wilson (Carl) not getting numbers yet. Freo's Simpson... can't remember. Ok numbers IIRC.

If Sanders or McKercher played VFL they'd be getting 30 easy. Likewise Windsor. And Darcy Wilson. NB it looks like it could be a superdraft. Probably is.

Two games in, it’s obvious McCauliff is a top 10 talent.
Flogged Will Graham and a host of top fancies. Bullied them in actual fact.
We’ve pulled a rabbit out of our arse.
