What a great, great win!!! I'm euphoric. Wish i went to the game. 14 goals in a row!!! Simply sensational!!! The votes...

3 - Campbell - When you are down and out, who do you think is gonna stand up? 19 first half disposals. Inspirational performance, kept us in the contest.

2 - Johnson - His best game for the club. When he came to the Tigers I was sceptical of his worth. I'm gladly going to eat humble pie, he starred.

1 - Newman - Not much with the stats but he tussled and punched brilliantly from defence, continually beating bigger opponents.

Honourable mentions :

Stafford - Rucked well after Spider got trounced by a Stafford special. Knocked out Stone, knocked out Spider, and kicked some good goals.

Coughlan - A slow start but when he got into the mix did some good things. Showed lots of desperation and kicked some good goals.

Tivendale - Another good game. Good to see that he is backing up his solid performances.

Gaspar - Is earning his pay. Good defence all day.

2. Wayne Campbell - This guy amazes me - just gets better and better

3. Mark Chaffey - The defensive engine room. Another great game from Chaff, especially early when few others were travelling well.

2-Coughlan....ahead of Campbo just cos when Cogs lifted the team did too. Timely goals and great tackles...Inspirational.
1-Chaffey....made it his mission to stop the Hawks in his tracks. Great run and toughness, and very creative play from a backman.

I voted for those 3 because of their hardness and determination that seemed to lift the team imo.

3. Coughlan - Its hard to judge the amount of stats a player gets while watching a game live, but I judge the best player by the amount of times I praise a certain player. I lost count of how many time I said "well done Coughlan".

1. Chaffey - He and Richo stood up when we were being hammered and turned the game for us.

3 - Coughlan. Did nothing wrong all game (which I can't say for nearly everyone else in the side) 2 goals, x amount of disposals, x amount of hard ball gets - champion in the making!

2 - Chaffy. Good, clean disposal all game. 2 inspirational goals, ran all day and seemed to 'know' what he wanted to do.

1 - Richo. What can you say, I love you Richo!!!

2 - Chris Newman - this guy is getting better every week, i think i said that last week too!

1 - Mark Coughlan - 3 goals, plenty of hard stuff, his tackling impresses me alot.

Wayne Campbell - great work captain courageous.

Andrew Krakouer - was the spark in the second half, great sharking and a great snap from 30 metres in the last.

Greg Tivendale - top game off half back, some telling marks late.

Mark Chaffey - kept us alive in the first quarter, ran his guts out, could hardly move by full time.

Special mentions to Campbell, Richo and Stafford's pointy elbows!

My mouth was open agog at 3/4 time when I saw the hardball gets stat on the scoreboard. It was something like 45 / 18. Coughlan and Johnson were the two most responsible for this and were ultimately the reasons why we won the game.
