3 x 1st rounder next year? How do you come up with that?
You think we can turn 2 of the worst 3 1st round picks this year for 2 1st rounders next year? Which clubs are going to take that chance Bully?

BTW the 3 x 1st picks is a trade for pick 1 not Rayner, can choose who ever the board is full.
Who I like is irrelevant, pick 1 & Naish for the picks I mentioned is value.

And I wouldn't be upset with Lynch but he's not my 1st choice of tall, I'd choose Weitering,Brown,Patton,Daniher, & Wright all before Lynch.
Not saying the boy can't play just would choose others before him, unless the trade only involve 2 x 1st's then I'm keen.

Like I've mentioned before, no player in the draft is worth sacrificing next year's first pick. As for trading into next year's draft, it may even be preferable to trade pick 17 for Brisbane's second, you could pretty much bank on a top 20 pick. The other suggestion is trade 15 & 17 for pick 5 & 40, in this scenario Rayner would come into contention. Trading out of next year's draft is a mistake, let's just leave it at that.

Here's some results from the combine.

Is Aiden Bonar any good?

I liked his game on the weekend, only criticism was his over reliance on handballing. Contested work gets a big tick and looks AFL ready.

Naughton seems to have some tools. Could he be played forward or is he only a 3rd tall?

My biggest criticism of Naughton is his loopy kicking action, just don't know how well this will hold up at AFL level. Don't think I could burn a first on him to be honest. The other interesting stat is Allen's jumping, didn't think he utilised that at state level. Don't think the Lennon comparison is fair to be honest, Oscar is by far the superior athlete.

Running vertical jump
Kyron Hayden (Western Australia) 103cm – NEW RECORD

Impressive.

Crikey,Lynch wouldn't even be in my top 5 talls that I'd consider trading for let alone use 3 x 1st's on.Good player to get as a free agent though.

Apt username.

Naish doesn't appear once in those results, hopefully dropping his value a bit.
Was injured with back spasms. Wonder if he's making it difficult for others to judge him......completely voluntarily of course.

I mentioned this earlier, but any chance we'd go for Ben Miller later in the draft. 196cm, quick and agile with a decent leap.
Also a good kick. Seems like a good third round prospect.

Great input, now do you have anything valid to add to the discussion or is
it that your incapable of giving your opinion?

Hopefully we've done a Heppell/Darling with him.

Do we have any numbers on Naish yet ?

20 mtr
repeats
yoyo
leap

He didn't run due to a back spasm. About the only thing I can add is that he measured in at 180.6cm and 68.85kg

If we can get Brander and/or Balta, we simply must. If we can get one of them, Bonar and Naish, I'll be rapt.

Talk of Brander sliding out the top 10.
