every player is happy to be drafted and club is irrelevant. FOS was excited and happy even after North picked him. lol

They have not only covered the spine, they have also drafted players that have connections already, all Victorians, this could be the best draft we have ever seen.

Securing another 1st rounder too, amazing job.

This is the team that created a triple premiership list in and amongst the expansion clubs, I have faith they just did a great job for the clubs future .

Trainor's reaction was priceless! Even more so when you compare it to Langford's. Poor fella was looking around for a tall building to jump off when he should have been celebrating getting drafted. So close to getting to the Tigers mate... so close!

Brilliant night at the footy club watching the draft live at Punt Road.
Very generous by the club to those in attendance.
If this is the start of the Shane Dunn era I'm very impressed.
Most professionally run event I've attended in a long time.
Great to meet a few other PREnders as well.

We are going to get some smashings around the ball next season and probably some of our better young talent will be playing VFL but we have built a foundation. The player i expect to feature most a senior level next season is Smillie, I think Lalor will be phased in as we build his fitness.

I reckon Essendon will want to trade up. The picks immediately after ours don't look too threatening for tall selections, then it's game on.
