According to Callum Twomey over the past two days there are only 2 Tigers in the best 50 players going around.
He has Shai Bolton at No. 27 and Dustin Martin at No. 3.
Even rates Bontempelli and Pretacca above Dusty.
Seems to overlooked some like Cotchin, Grimes and Reiwoldt, just to name 3.
And, what has Bontempelli done to be ranked above Martin?
Or even Pretacca for that matter, who was BOG in their one and only GF in god knows how many years?
One man's opinion I know.

Already looking forward to the clash at the G against last year's premiers and the Tigers, this year's premiers.

I haven’t seen the list (I don’t get my news from the official website any more, as it’s just full of crap that isn’t actually about football), but Twomey has somewhat of an idea, rather than someone like Mike Sheahan who had his favourites thereabouts every year.

His list is *smile*. Plain & simple.
Martin fully fit is a 10 length winner for the best player in the comp.
He said that 'Petrecca barely plays a poor game' has Twommey watched Martin?
Grimes, BigV even Edwards belong in the top 30.

Going on last years form thats about right.
Of all time or this century then thats a different story.

Good player The Bont, but not even close to Martin's greatness!
Maybe even a tad over rated seeing as the bont is playing for the Doggies!
Heck I don't reckon he is even close to the chimp's level!

Petracca is a great player, but he is well behind the achievements of Dustin Martin. Recency bias I reckon.

12 months ago the media had Pertecca as a fat ass that dosent put in the hard work.
And today he is rated above Martin.

It's a fake list, his job is to generate discussion not to analyse and report accurately.

People fall for these "lists" every year and it's embarrassing lol.

50 divided by 18 is 2.78.
It's reasonable, mathematically at least, to expect that the lesser teams would only have two on the list, and last year we were certainly that.

Don't sweat on it graystar. Everyone knows our players are no good, just check the super coach scores each week. Bunch of mid range numpties them Richmond players.

So right. Everybody's lists are different as personal preferences or having an axe to grind is always a deciding factor.
