Reckon have one to at least ease the financial pain of last night.

Dees Pies total points looks light on today at 151.5

Bucks last game surely he will free the team up enough for the match to cover a low line.

Pies have been an unders machine this year. Everyone was praising a new game style today and they still only scored 80 on the SCG.

Thought it would be a good time to ratchet the Tiges but still only $7.00 on Betfair. Punters haven't loss faith.

If you'd said Pies score 80 on a 151 pt line against Melbourne would have bit your hand off.

Anyways, capped off a *smile* weekend sport wise.

The bookies lack of response to our loss to WC, leaving us in 8th position, almost certainly preventing us from a Top 4 finish,

is nothing short of extraordinary.

They have us equal 2nd flag favourites @ $6 and WC @ $15.

I really dont know how a blokes supposed to make a living these days.

Objectively, we should be $10 absolute minimum.

No doubt objectively you'd want to be laying them at $6 not backing them.

As much as I hate them and did not rate them at the start of the year the Cats should be favourites given how significantly advantaged they are with the new rules. And as much as I hate Cameron he is a great fit for them and has added a new dimension to their forward line. They do have the challenge of having such an old site fit at the business end but if they do they present our biggest threat. Although It's no surprise their best form has been whilst Zuthrie & Briers are not playing.

Laying the Bulldogs is still the best value for me, surely you can't win a flag with such poor big men at both ends.

Come on Jazz. A couple of ESPN plonker "journos" made a HUGE apology to Josh Bruce for not fitting him in to their mid year AA team :rotfl2 :rotfl2

I agree cats should be favourites. Their injury list will be 2 blokes nobodys ever heard of after the ByE. I'd say its likely they will win the grand final, if Richmond aren't in it.

Bulldog interesting one. my ladder predictor has them finishing on top, with 2 or their 3 most influential mids to come back. I agree, how do you win a flag with Josh Bruce? hes less than half as good as Cameron Mooney ever was.

Melbourne have the ingredients, but expect them to slide from here. even miss top 4. NO

Brisbane are a contender, but I feel like they are a GF short on their trajectory.

The tigers should really be favourites, cause we will win the flag. But we should be $12, cause we'll be winning it from 6th.

Then I hope we come up with an entirely new game plan that subverts Shocking and his crooked mates hobbling us, and win it again.

I've said since the start of the season, the Cats are the team to beat this year. They are strong.

They are certainly looking stronger than I thought they'd be at this stage. But they are very old; can they sustain the level?

Plus if they get the injuries that we've had, they're in big trouble. They don't have the depth to cover key players; especially Hawkins and Cameron.

If they get the injuries that we've had. I posted elsewhere recently, that it's interesting how they don't seem to get a wave of injuries like other clubs. It's curious, and if it's just luck, to see if their luck holds with that older team.

Maybe it's just in the water from the Barwon.

I reckon the key defensive pair of Cordy & Keath are comparatively worse than Bruce! They were embarrassing against us. They only survive on the back of the dogs midfield winning more ball. I could mount an argument they are the worst 1-2 key defensive pair in the AFL.

They lack genuine toughness - boy did we expose that side of them. They are only in their current position because of the new rules.

Straight sets for the dogs this Finals. Hope we come up against them.

Whoreks $4 to beat Essington 1-24 at Lonny? Gotta have a bit of that. I fancy them. Maybe the ratchet.

unlike me, the bookies havnt lost faith the tigers can win the flag.

$7 to Lions $5.

unfathomable caution imo.

this acute optimist has abandoned all hope for 2021

$7?? That's just stupid. Real price should be somewhere around double that.

Top 4 is almost impossible but multiple interstate finals are a real chance. At best we would start at more than $1.8 in all 4 finals (probably 2.1 or 2.2 if we head to Port or Bris) an all-up would be more than $12.

I was surprised too and double checked this morning. I was expecting 15/1 as WC are.

Feel a little sick saying it but I think the bombers at the line are value. Doubt it will be high scoring.
