cats caught cheating

Good move to announce it the week before the footy shows start. Caro might still bring it up

AFL.com report 'cats cop massive whack'...... of $40k.

seriously?

we should self report that we're gonna win the next 3 *smile* flags

by paying actual good players the correct amount and having competent administrative staff

Wonder how Geesook Gerrard and Derrrrwayne will try sweep this one under the rug tomorrow.

Hopefully after years of being canned over the Essendon saga and their punishment, that Watson will go after them tomorrow.

Someone has to.

$40k for 8 years of cheating.
Meanwhile, the Thunderbirds in the netball league cop $100k fine forsalary cap breaches in 2019 only.
One of these is not right. What was the quote? "Manifestly inadequate" eh Gill?

Probably depends a bit on what they actually did before we break out the torches and pitchforks and angry mobs.

So it would be good to know that.

Geelong have been hit with a $40,000 fine over repeated salary cap rules breaches across an eight-year period.

Repeated !! $40K for an 8 year old f*uck up. Maybe the longer you leave it covered, the less the penalty you pay.

Looks like a GST error. No worries, Gill the Dill will pocket the $40K gift....

What also would have been good would have been for the AFL to actually say what the breach actually was instead of being the usual vague self. Their website reported the story with the headline including the words "Massive Whack" so you would think it would be a big story. Nup. Seven sentences make up the story with half of those from a geelong official saying they would accept the penalty.
