I have heard of two today.

One that came from the 3aw rumour file said that Eades would be coaching Richmond next year.

The second one I found on big footy that Leigh Matthews will coach Richmond next year.

I wouldn't mind Lethal down at Tigerland but if he's ever going to coach in victoria again it will be Hawthorn.

Eade can just keep on walking.

Eade would be a huge mistake IMHO. He was forced out byt the Swans players and God they were as boring as us with there defensive game.

MATHEWS would be a great coach, but what incentive would he have to come to Tigerland.

I can't help thinking there is a lot of incentive for a coach to come to Tigerland Gus. Things are rock bottom and the only way is up.

The club has strengthened off field, they have admitted the playing list needs an overhaul.

There is a massive membership market out there waiting to get behind the club if they see some direction for the future.

We;ve shown newfound stability having a coach for 4 years.

I think it would be a real challenge, and a good incentive to be the coach who got Richmond back to being a powerhouse again.

New motto-

Richmond.....A premiership waiting to happen.

I agree there are a lot of incentives there Rosy for a lot of coaches, but still can't see that Leigh MATHEWS would have to many incentives to come here, given what he has got there.

Yeah the weather would be incentive enough for me to stay North ha.

Would or should hold a lot of appeal for someone like WALLACE or EADE, but don't like the idea of Eade.

Forget Eade! He's a useless coach. I found out quite a bit about him via certain people I know from the NSW AFL during his reign. He's a classic for playing players out of position and he almost single handedly destroyed Staff's career. I doubt that Matthews would want to coach us next year so I think Wallace at this stage would be up there if Frawley's picnic to Hanging Rock goes to plan! Muhahaha ;D

God EADE was make FRAWLEY look like a kindergarten teacher when it comes to pick up recycle players and not giving youth a go.

You only have to look at how much the Swans improved when he left to know we don't want him.

But remember he was an assistant at North when MILLER was there.

No it could be so......surely.

We could not pick up a coach that has been sacked by the SWAN of all Teams.

what about a 5 yr contract on Harvey,i think Harvey could bring a new style of play to our side,he was a halfback flanker like Sheeds,Worsfold,Roos and Malthouse, and hes been taught by one of the best,a lot of these young coaches are doing ok and i reckon harvey,s gonna be up there...

If Danny goes at the end of this season, I'd much prefer Harvey or O'Donnell, way ahead of Wallace or Eade. Not sure why so many are hooked on Wallace - what's he ever done?

Laff, what a honest, logical and concise summation of what is going on at Punt Road. You should be very proud ;)

Don't know why we'd want Wallace - he did stuff-all with the Bulldogs (a similar bunch of underperformers).
Not impressed with his 'kicky-scratchy' coaching style, either.

Rumours are rife that Craig Lambert will be at Richmond in some sort of coaching capacity next year.

My ideal senario?

COACH: Mark Harvey
Assistants: Craig Lambert
Wayne Brittain
????
????

And a new Development coach.
