Cricket

Green fields mostly gully for Australia but would be a fantastic slipper as well, as we have seen on occasion. Flintoff, Botham, Alderman, Moody, Southee, Clive Lloyd, Roger Harper and spook a few more big blokes who excelled in slips.

Kudos to Australia's curators. More grass on pitches at both test and first-class level over the past couple of seasons has made it tough going for batsmen but produces better cricket. Theoretically should prepare our blokes better for playing in England too. Far too long since we beat them over there.
None of them 2 metres as Big Beau is. I always thought Lloyd smoked pipes in the slips.

Brayshaw and Langer commentating together should not be allowed

Scotty Boland has been absolutely fantastic so far today. At them the whole time.
Australia's attack has been fantastic all summer, and really for many years. Never had a quartet play and succeed so much together, and if one of the quicks is out, in comes Boland.

Is it the best quick attack we've ever had?
It's close.

Cummins, Starc, Hazlewood (Boland)
McGrath, Gillespie, Lee (Fleming, Kasprowicz)
Lillee, Thomson, Walker (Gilmour)
Lindwall, Miller, Johnston
(McDermott, Reid, Hughes if they'd been able to peak together)

Johnson, Harris, Siddle
Lawson, Alderman, Hughes

Smith's drop was at that tough height between hands up or down. Looked like it hit the ball of his hands. Punter would have bent the knees and taken it hands up.

Slug bowling well here.

Not an easy wicket this.

Good toss to lose. Heaps of seam movement still.

Will get easier, but might be one of those you don't know til both teams bat.

220 to 240 might turn out a decent score.

Kohli has become a liability in this Indian team.

Yeah he's concentrating bloody hard, but struggling big time.

Always a worry when you're consistently edging the ball and most runs are coming square.

Typically a sign your eye is going.

When Leysy bats now, wouldn't even set a mid on or off :D

Yep I’m glad that someone has finally said it. He tried to blame his dismissal to his teammate for not taking the single. Yet he played the poor shot after already being dropped in that area earlier on his first ball and dismissed six times previously for the same error. He’s a momentum killer , team killer and as you say a liability to the team.

That McGrath , Gillespie and Lee’s not bad when you think you add Warne to the full attack .

Gillespie and Harris are the 2 most underatted imho
