Looks good Sin.Liam Scott still in. He has pushed himself into the national conversation this season. Shield player of the year, one day player of the year and 2nd to Sam Harper as BBL player of the year.
We have some decent all rounders atm

Just bowled a brilliant over to Narcus Harris. Actually got him out but was a no ball. He’s got a funny action, he almost stops at the crease then bowls.Looks good Sin.
I can't see him stopping at the crease.Just bowled a brilliant over to Narcus Harris. Actually got him out but was a no ball. He’s got a funny action, he almost stops at the crease then bowls.
You’re thinking of George Scott.I thought Liam Scott was in our VFL side? Or is that Harry George?
You’re thinking of George Scott.
Compare and contrast that with county cricket. More diluted than my lime Cottees cordial.Watched the 30 min highlight clip.
How good is Shield cricket.
And how well does it prepare our players for international level.
It is more hard fought and a better level than many tests.
If CA ever dilute it - Will be the end for our national test team.
2 night watchmen in. Still got Peake, Sutherland and McNeill to bat.The Vics had one hand on the shield. Now it’s one finger. After having SA virtually 5/31 allowed SA to get a score of 268 and a lead of 197. Vics are now 5/102 with 94 runs still to get. Unfortunately a brittle batting line up has been the weak point of Victorian teams for quite some time.
Big day tomorrow to see if they can eke out 94 more runs or if they lose 5 wickets.
