Golf

hope im wrong but rahm's lost it.
cant chip cant putt, irons are steep, short, blink & u miss, taking frustration out on driver.
bad boy bubbling.

Reckon J. Thomas is a big chance in this although morning tee times are supposed to get the wind in the 2nd round.

Not sure what to make of the 2nd hole with a massive tree right in the middle of the fairway.

Seems like lazy course design to me.

Radar might be well advised to stop talking about the war, unless he knows he's got a gig commentating on the great white anchovy's new tour.

Here’s a good close up of the sand they’re using in the bunkers and why it’s making life so difficult at the PGA. It’s that cheap looking beach sand with tiny pebbles in it.

I actually don’t mind it for the fact bunkers are way too easy to play out of nowadays.

CASIO LEADERBOARD

It was a tough day for those out early, wind gusts over 40 mph made it extremely difficult. Justin Thomas has had the worst of the conditions both days and done a great job to be -6. Think there will be a little compression at the top after the 3rd round, Zalatoris has putted the lights out, a club he usually struggles with.

As for the So What cup, first round leader angry cankles followed up with another sub par round and got all 6 players through the cut. Its his to lose with a super half way score (PRE major record 36 holes score?) of -7. The summary is below, only the 3 leading entrants got all 6 players through the half way cut. Will be hard for the rest to make up ground. Leading the race to the bottom is Masters winner Tenacious.

thks for ur efforts MD.
my 'bad boy bubbling' reference was to rahms early days petulance.
im actually quite meek & tbh i really enjoy the comp (sharing the format with some mates) but not losing sleep over it .
wouldnt mind winning tho.
:eyes

If my ball was rolling past, hit a rake and got knocked into the bunker, I would leave the course, rent a bulldozer, come back and end it.

did anyone notice zalatoris' approach on the 10th?
went for the pre green bounce & run up.
a caddy from a previous group had left the front green side rake perpendicular to the line of play... blocking the approach !!
will's ball hit it on the full & skewed into a sob down hill trap lie.
one of the best up & downs ive seen.
sabotage.?

Forget rakes, the big story here is that Mopsy is threatening to buy a plane ticket and deliver a swift kick up Cameron Chump’s ass :)

Tiger is looking very puffy nowadays. Years of steroids caught up with him ??

Geez this coverage on tv is downright annoying. Keep changing commentary teams. The Australian guy is a pain in the ass. Doesn’t shut up. Endless, meaningless drivel. Shut up mate. You don’t have to talk every second of the coverage.

Anyone know of any pro shops or stores holding stock of Scotty Cameron Newport putters ?

Looking to add to my collection with a new Special Select Newport 2.

Very very hard to get stock at the moment.

Is it Ewan Porter? I've been trying to work it out.
