Goodbye Mabior Chol

Hardwick gave Mabs a wrap.
Goodness knows why. Especially in that last quarter. Ruck set up was also Hardwick’s fault - regardless of why Chol was getting annihilated (tiredness or being totally outclassed), why wouldn’t he have tried Coleman-Jones? Winning one clearance may have made a difference.

Had a solid first half of the game but was out of gas in the last quarter when he needed marking presence.

Still think he'll make way for Nankvervis.

Just an awkward time to be playing him, trying to keep flag hopes alive. He's not quite at the stage where he demands a game.

Will have learned a lot tonight. Needs a decent block of games but not sure we can afford it.

Chol was soundly beaten by NicNat. 7 disposals, 14 hitouts for a first ruck doesn't do it for me. Think he'll be straight out for Nanks. When Lynch comes back CJ will be the perfect backup ruckman for Nanks.
CJ doesn't even play back-up for Chol!

Hardwick gave Mabs a wrap.
Then maybe he needs to wake up.
Chol played as ruck rover today and left the ground with 7 touches.
What was he doing ?
He wasnt crowding WC forward line.
He wasnt presenting as an option down the ground.
Cj has proven which one should be our priority.
One mark in that last 5 minutes could've got us over the line.

He’s definitely improved his ability to stay in the game , however if GC are offering 3 years , I’d take what they are prepared to trade , plus one less in Ralph’s stable

Play any one else
I've seen enough.
In his prime should be everywhere, but he never is.
Where was he in the last qtr.

If AFL just consisted of the first quarter Chol would be the best player in the league. Unfortunately there are 4 quarters.

He seems to have backed up a little at VFL level. Has had stints at AFL level. When Lynch is back he can play more ruck and still keep our tall forward structure. CJ makes a lot more sense than Chol right now and at least 1 is surely going out on Nanks and Lynch's return.

He’s not a no 1 ruck
would do better with Nank in the team
Happy to let him walk if it helps keep CCJ

Hardwicks ruckman is the toughest gig in footy without doubt

I thought Mabs really took it up to NicNat.

NicNat just too experienced and big and fast.

But I have zero doubt we bank those 4 pts last night with Nank in there.

Time to trade Chol is now. This is on the proviso we are keeping Coleman Jones, who is critical to our future. Chol for pick in 20s or use in trade for Cerra

Chol faded and hard to understand why after 5 years+ on the list.
Does the flashy stuff and we miss Nank the Tabks consistency from start to finish.
