Harry Armstrong

I reckon he has a bit of the Jack Darlings about him. Will fill out and broad across the shoulders. Darling never stood on anyones head but was good on the lead and could take a pack mark using strength and skill
Did Barry Hall ever take a screamer? Didn't stop him from being a very effective forward.

Interesting player.
Definitely seems more comfortable on the lead but that strong contested mark at half forward in front of Balta late in the third term was exciting.
Really curious to watch him develop. All of Sims, Fawcett & Jonty actually.

Little hints n glimpses from the 4 of them, it's what you want at the start of their careers. Hopefully that grows n blossoms as they mature n develop over the next cuppla years.

Looks a great prospect… not sure about the high ball drop though!

Will be a star.

Our KPP forward line between Armstrong and Faull with rotating Lalor/Smillie will be unbelievable. Just need the right coach and to keep them all.

I'm thinking Armstrong/Faull key fowards
Sims forward/ruck relief
Small/mediums (rotating etc) of Campbell, Hotton, Lalor, Alger, goodness hopes someone comes good out of the MRJ, Mansell, Green group etc.

Can't remember which qtr it was but he handballed to a team mate with what i describe as a footballers handball. With authority. To me thats shows a great sign of him being the difference of being the next Jack or the next Mcbean.Very similar to Hottons handballing.

Imagine the sleepless nights for the oppo coach matching up all 3.

Yes he's more than just a kick mark player. Been several moments where you can see he's got the chip.

Yep - his body positioning and foot movements when tracking the ground ball tell me he’s what you describe. Engages, disengages, pushes with his hips and arse, has a still head, balanced - he’s the goods alright.

what about Armstrong / Faull key fowards
Sims / CDT rotating ruck / ff

This is what I want.

And given our absolute lack of young rucks coming through, and that we haven't had a ruck/forward in forever, I'd be reluctant to turn down CDT if he's available.

Even though I acknowledge we need mids with pace big time.

Oliver Hayes-Brown, 208 cm. Good mover. Wins ruck contests. Tackles. Good at ground level (probably exceptional given his height), excellent handballer. Struggles a little with kicking but is improving.

Basically drove us to victory in a VFL wildcard game by dominating the ruck in the 3rd quarter including 3 centre clearances on his own.
